Warung Suci — Restaurant in West Nusa Tenggara

We wanted to go there because it looked cozy and because of the cheap prices. Also the food looked really nice and according to the menu they offer a vegan burger and a vegan pizza. We ordered the vegan burger but unfortunately it wasn’t even vegan. Before we ordered the burger we were asking several times if it really was vegan (According to the menu the “vegan pizza” contains mozzarella which made us suspicious.). The waiter assured us, that there wouldn’t be any egg or milk in the burger - but as I already said unfortunately there was. My friends ate the burger because they don’t have any allergies and they aren’t vegan (but vegetarian). According to them the burger was really delicious. I ordered a nasi goreng without egg and crab chips. So in general we can recommend the Warung because of the prices and the taste (food and cocktails) - but you have to be careful if you have any allergies...

My favourite restaurant in Gili Trawangan. I came here every day during my 5 days stay because the food is of consistent good quality, the staff is very friendly and welcoming and they have plenty of fans that can be adjusted to face your table when requested. A big plus is that the prices are very affordable and they serve a range of different foods. Everyone will find something they like on their menu! hidden gem! go here if you want authentic, hearty, delicious indonesian food for a very cheap price. we had the beef rendang (best i’ve ever had) and the yellow curry with prawns and both were incredible, and around 45k/50k each. we asked for them both spicy and the staff were happy to accommodate, they were so attentive and friendly. we also had a really nice chocolate milkshake and mozzarella sticks (both 10/10). only thing i would say is we came back the next day for a wrap and baguette and these weren’t as nice, we’d definitely return for the indonesian...
