Easy Groovy — Restaurant in Yogyakarta

Excellent place to eat out with friends and family, especially in dinner time. Good atmosphere, located in a southern part of Jogja city called "Prawirotaman", which is a famous area for foreign tourists and night activities.

Foods are good, extremely tasty in fact. I ordered Guacamole and Nachos De Pollo for appetizers, Nasi Goreng Ayam, and their signature dessert, Easy Chocolate Dream. All of them pleased my taste buds, intriguing presentation, and premium quality ingredients. I recommend their Easy Chocolate Dream, which is a chocolate brownie served with almond on top and a scoop of vanilla ice cream on the side. I can taste a hint of salt from it. I dare to say, it's one of the best brownies I've ever had. Nasi goreng is served with enough portion and well-seasoned. Regardless the crowdedness, the foods came out earlier than I thought.

The waitress were very attentive, friendly, and helpful. They mostly speak English as well, so you most likely won't have any problems communicating with them.

This place has outdoor seatings, so you can definitely smoke here. I'm not sure if this place is kids-friendly though. It's a little bit tough to find parking here, especially if the area is busy, so you might have to walk for a couple of minutes to get here.

A Groovy Return to Pawirotaman

From Easy Going to Easy Garden, and now Easy Groovy - it seems Yogyakarta can't get enough of your easy vibes! As a happy customer on your Pawirotaman adventure, I'm excited to share my experience at the new spot.

First things first, location is king, and Easy Groovy nails it. Right across from Gelato on Pawirotaman, it's a prime spot for grabbing a bite and a bevvy after a day of exploring.

The menu offered a delightful mix of familiar favorites and some intriguing newcomers. We enjoyed good, solid food – juicy burgers, fresh salads, and of course a good beer selection. Those amazing pizzas have left the menu, but enough news to choose from. The juices were a refreshing burst of flavor, and the cold beer hit the spot on a warm Yogyakarta afternoon.

Now, opening any new restaurant comes with its challenges, and the hustle and bustle of the first day added to the charm. It was clear the Easy team was working hard to keep everyone happy, and the atmosphere was buzzing with excitement.

The service was okay. We ordered a chicken quesadilla, which didn't even have the slightest hint of cheese. The worst part was when I went to the bathroom and when I came out, a man who was working there was on a apparently videocall and he was pointing at me (of course, without my consent), laughing and denying that he wasn't pointing at me, He moved the phone where I was moving.
