Just Playon — Restaurant in Yogyakarta

Not bad yet not that great. Just like most of people who visited by because their beers are cheaper and cold-fresh, glad to find out this. Had a nice experience on my first visit, but not after several times visiting this place. The service is poor and rather impolite -if I may say. They will observe what you’re having on the table and will come to you once you finish your bottle. Some other time they event just didn’t not ask for an excuse, just abruptly took your empty bottle and left. Once you had nothing on the table, they’d ask if you’d like to order again. If not, they’d hand out your bill. I found it rude tho 🙄 I know this place is always crowded and maybe that’s their strategy to keep everyone coming and well-seated. Yet it makes me uncomfortable, like you’re being pushed in a hurry while all you want is to have a chill evening with your friends. Or maybe they only do this to people who order the beers which on promotion. But definitely not to the foreigners. Cool place during summer. But i think it will be quite messy during rainy season. The place itself definitely on the purpose to be instagramable. Food are small portion, taste just okay (the nachos is a big failed though), price quite cheap for a restaurant on this area. Ordered ice coffee latte, taste okay. We got a nice server. She's doing a great job. It's still long holiday after eid mubarak, probably some of the waitresses or chef still took their day off, so the food took so long (too long) to serve. Definitely didn't prepare a lot of stock, because we came around 7pm but some of the food & beverages already not available. Probably will recheck their service & quality after this long holiday...

Beer is really cold, which is amazing and barely found in Asia (at least for us) Food is really nice, sometimes not too big dishes but only enough. Fried cheese sticks are amazing (5pieces) A fan would be appreciated. Staff are nice and helpful. Good location, nice decoration, clean toilets, wifi that normally works properly. Some ants climbing if you seat next to the trees 😂. Card payment available. Cheap. We drunk 2 large beers, one starter and two main dishes and spent around usd10 in total. Something to improve could be to have more options for dessert. Highly recommended.
