We stayed for 3 days during peak seasons and school holiday. So here it is if you want to stay at Ministry hope the review will help
Pros: We choose room of 4 bunk bed. The room is clean and have nice scent when we enter. The room has balcony, spacious, and the bathroom is big. Water heater running well. The location is in the heart of Prawirotaman, there are many cafes and Tempo Gelato nearby only a short walk. The AC is working well. The sfaff is nice. Hope the hospitality always been nice to everyone, especially when you bring along family with kids and elderly Family and kids friendly Asthetic room and cafe to those who love photography We appreciate that the rooms are non smoking, they provide area for smoking on the other side. If you bring family with elderly and kids, it would be nice to sit and relax without breathing smokey air.
Cons: There is no water station. You only get mineral water each day that you can ask to front desk. On last day of our stay, we dont get water bottle. Breakfast is excluded. You can order separetely or buy food, nearby. The bathroom has big bath tub, which we dont think it's necessary. Check out time is 11.00, so pay attention before booking and you have to adjust to the schedule. There is no lift. If you bring elderly, you should consider the accessibility, too. If they're too old to walk on the stairs, better find other...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI recently had the pleasure of experiencing this coffee shop. The space itself is impeccably clean, with a spacious and naturally lit environment that inspires productivity. The ambiance is elevated by soothing jazz music, creating a relaxed atmosphere perfect for tackling tasks on your laptop. With decent wifi and comfortable air conditioning, it's an ideal spot for remote work.
One standout aspect was the accommodating staff who graciously fulfilled my request for an affogato, despite it not being on the menu. While the espresso leaned towards the Americano side, it still delivered a satisfying coffee experience. However, for those with discerning taste buds, I must note that while the environment excels, the coffee and pastry offerings may not match up to the standards set by Opera Pastry Cafe less than one block away. Minister of Coffee seems to be recently opened so maybe theyāll need more time to identify customerās preference and perfect their beverages.
If you're seeking a serene and productive workspace with decent coffee options and a welcoming atmosphere, this coffee shop certainly delivers. Yet, for those prioritizing top-tier coffee and pastry selections, Opera Pastry might still be the...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreA great find. I originally planned to stay for 5 nights but ended up extending by another 2 nights. Wanted to stay longer but they were full. M.O.C is a coffee shop on Jl. Prawirotaman, surrounded by restaurants, cafes, bars, travel agents, laundry etc, so the location is perfect. If you plan on sleeping before 11pm, the live music at the bar opposite might keep you awake. Better to just go in there for a drink instead! They have a few rooms at the back. Good value for money. My room had a balcony, air con, TV (old, all channels in Indonesian - but I wasn't there to watch TV), hot water, tea & coffee, mineral water each day. They service the room each day, so clean towels etc, and breakfast is also included. There are quite a few options for breakfast - you order the night before, and give them a rough idea of when you will be eating. They also do early breakfast boxes if you are going out for sunrise trips etc. Staff are super friendly and helpful. They lent me a motorcycle helmet. They let me keep a bicycle inside....
