Famouri House (Cafe, Restaurant, Art House), a fantastic historical building in the heart of Tehran, located in Geshtaseb Alley right off of Jomhoori Ave., adjacent to Rome Street. It is an oasis in middle of the busy business district. The beautifully done renovation of a historical building, an open yard seating with traditional water fountains, fruit trees and gorgeous flowers in the garden. The staff were friendly, professional and very clean. The management were actively engaged in the operation and they were very helpful and inviting. There is special menu and hours of operation for the month of Ramadan, make sure you call for reservations. Variety of hot and cold drinks, and great traditional entrees. این خانه بسیار زیبا که توانسته معماری و سبک خاص خود را همچون گذشته حفظ کند مدتی می‌شود به همت مالک قبلی خود خانم زهرا فاموری خریداری و پس از بازسازی و تغییراتی اکنون به مرکزی فرهنگی هنری با امکان اقامت و پذیرایی تبدیل شده است. از دیگر تزیینات این بنا می‌توان به نمای آجری با ایوان و ستون‌های متعدد و گچبری شده،حیاتی نسبتا بزرگ با حوض آبی رنگ و مستطیل شکل در میانه،درختچه و گلدان‌ها و همینطور کاشی دیواری و پلکان و میز و صندلی‌هایی چوبی اشاره کرد این بنای ارزشمند در سال ۱۳۹۵ با شماره ۳۱۵۴۴ به عنوان یکی دیگر از آثار ملی ایران به ثبت رسیده است. This very beautiful house, which has managed to preserve its architecture and style as in the past, has been purchased for some time by the efforts of its previous owner, Mrs. Zahra Famuri, and after renovation and changes, it has now become a cultural and artistic center with the possibility of accommodation and hospitality. Other decorations of this building include a brick facade with a porch and many plastered columns, a relatively large living room with a blue and rectangular pond in the middle, shrubs and flower pots, as well as wall tiles and stairs and wooden tables and chairs. This is a valuable building. In 1395, it was registered as another national work of Iran with number 31544.

گرمای تابستان زنده‌مان می‌کند. این روزها خانه تاریخی فاموری کاربری کافه-رستوران را پیدا کرده و این را می‌شود در بدو ورود فهمید. همین کاربری هم باعث محبوبیت بیشتر اینجا شده، میزهای کوچک و بزرگی در آن وجود دارد و دل‌مان از دیدن آن عمارت زیبای دو طبقه غرق لذت می‌شود. این خانه آشپزخانه کوچکی هم دارد. در روز دو سه مدل غذای ایرانی آماده می‌شود؛ غذاهایی مثل لوبیاپلو، زرشک‌پلو یا قلیه ماهی و برای عصرانه یا شام هم کوکوسبزی، کشک بادمجان و آش ماست در نظر گرفته شده. می‌توانیم از شلوغی خیابان‌های اطراف به اینجا پناه بیاوریم، اما توصیه ما این است که فقط برای صرف نوشیدنی و چای اینجا را انتخاب کنید. طبقه بالای اینجا این روزها کاربری اقامتگاه را دارد و در گوشه‌ای از خانه، فروشگاه کوچکی برای خرید ظرف‌و‌ظروف و شال هم دارد. ما اجازه گشتن در فضای داخلی را نداریم؛ اما از همین بیرون هم که نگاه کنیم همه چیز بی‌نقص است و چیزی کم ندارد. خانه فاموری همه روزهای هفته به جز شنبه‌ها از ساعت ۱۰ صبح تا ۱۲ شب باز است و از آن که بیرون بیاییم می‌توانیم به خیابان‌های اطراف برویم. در همین نزدیکی، خیابان خارک و خیابان نوفل لوشاتو و کوچه لولاگر دیدنی هستند. با کمی پیاده‌روی و گذشتن از پردیس سینمایی چهارسو هم به خیابان تاریخی پایتخت، یعنی خیابان سی تیر می‌رسیم؛ خیابانی که خودش یکپا تاریخ زنده تهران است

The architecture and interior design of the cafe is similar to houses in old tehran. Cold drinks made of flower/aromatic plants' extracts called 'sharbat' + cakes and traditional Iranian foods are served here. Unfortunately there is no price for drinks and cakes in the menu. Although waiters are very friendly in a not dull house situation they may completely forget a part of your order!😅

In terms of location, it was a good place and it had a beautiful atmosphere, you didn't have the right to choose many tables because they told you where to sit, there was nothing to sweeten the tea with the tea, of course, they brought it to us after warning, and most importantly, a hair in the food It was, which is a very bad thing And disgusting.

I had a pleasant experience here, unprofessional staff to be honest, however they are friendly. I ordered chicory and rose water tea with cardamom which was amazing, I also tried meatballs that had a great taste. One of the most amazing things about the place is that it was significantly cooler there than around due to their water spray.
