We weren’t expecting much of Aye, to be honest. We just met a couple of friends there to grab a couple of pints and, by the end of it, we were in awe with their food. We started by ordering the crispy sushi rice and they were incredibly tasty with just the right amount of spice to it. After that, we noticed we were still hungry, so we ordered two other dishes to nibble at while drinking: the Garlic & Chilli Atlantic Prawns and the Shredded Chicken. The Atlantic Prawns were very good, but a bit expensive for its size (€16). But the Shredded Chicken was the highlight of the evening. Incredibly tasty and its price was very good for its portion size. The staff serving us were very efficient and super friendly during the whole evening and I wish I knew their names because they deserve the compliments and recognition.

Went last night and was absolutely blown away. The service was excellent and the staff we're friendly and mighty craic. Complimentary hot drink of a sloe berry ginger tea was great and the chorizo spice bag was something else! Most importantly though the Beamish was like cream! Highly recommend the place.

Me and two of my friends went out for something quick to eat and drink. The food was fabulous and the service was quick and very pleasant. The atmosphere was lovely. Couldn't be happier. We've had the charcuterie board, smashed potatoes and spicy king prawns. All were top-notch 👌

Wonderful experience at Aye for my fiancé's 30th birthday! Lovely setting inside. So comfortable and has a very chilled vibe. Food was delicious ! We did a mixture of a lot of different dishes. We got slow cooked lamb bon bons, crispy chicken, crispy confit duck, king prawn pil pil and a side of potato terrine bites. We got a complimentary portion of bread , vinegar oil and garlic butter. All the food was so fresh and tasty. Our server was a lovely lady who was extremely attentive and friendly. We went at 4pm and it was very quiet. Things picked up around 6pm and got more vibrant. Depending on weather you want peace and quiet or a bit of an atmosphere choose your timing accordingly.

Price below includes all food, 3 glasses of wine and 4 bottles of Heineken zero ! Amazing value for...

Was at a birthday here and the outside bar had minimal selection of drinks and no cocktails. In order to get a bigger selection of drinks they made us go into the main bar. However we were not allowed to go out the front door into the main bar. We also were not allowed to use the door that connects the main bar and the side bar as it was "staff only". Instead we had to go through the back around the smoking area and through the restaurant seating. Just seemed a bit unnecessary.

The arrangement was also weird as the back room was actually split between two parties so you had to walk through one party to get...
