I hate posting reviews, but feel I had to. Went here on a Thursday with a group of friends, were ignored from the moment we walked in the door, until we we eventually told the table we sat at wasn't available. We were moved to a free table that was absolutely filthy, covered in the previous customers food, and no attempt made to clean it. Ordering from the bar was fine, we were getting the taco deal and one of us ordered off the blurry bird menu. The food all came out at separate times which is fine, but the tacos were stone cold. They were tasty enough, but they leaked oil, and were foolishly put into baskets with holes in the bottom, and not even any paper to prevent the oil dripping out and all over the table. The cocktails and wine were amazing, but that was the only good part of our night. Staff were incompetent, it was just very poor service, had to ask numerous times for napkins and when we asked for ketchup, we were given a cup of mayonnaise, and it wasn't until we asked a 3rd time that we were told they were out of ketchup, and no apologies made. The last basket of chips arrived way later than the rest of the food, we were all finished, and tasted horribly of fish. The tacos were quite small, which is fine they were a fiver, but when we went to order more food half an hour later we were told the kitchen wasn't taking any more orders as they had a party in. Just a really poorly managed place, great for just drinks I would assume, but we left hungry and won't...

Will never return due to management! I came with a group to do bottomless brunch (11/05/25), however we decided against alcohol and just to have food (of which two of the meals came with raw chips). There had been 4 separate glasses of Prosecco poured and untouched when we had told a waitress that we will not be doing bottomless and instead just pay for each glass separately. We were told this was okay and we denied any top ups. After 20 minutes, a man who I assume to be a manager came over to ask if we had paid for the drinks yet. When we replied no, he took away each glass and talked to us very condescending as if this miscommunication that all drinks not bottomless must be prepaid was on our side, not his staff. He then accused us of accepting refills, when if he had communicated with any of his staff, they would have agreed that we had not. Later, when leaving, one member of our party was waiting by the door with a bottle of wine, lindor and flowers in her hands, when the same manager came over and asked her if she had stole the wine from the bar!!!! As if her holding flowers and lindor was not enough context clues that it was clearly a gift. Absolutely unacceptable behaviour from a senior member of staff to accuse a paying customer of such a serious crime. The experience was a complete let down and I would not recommend to anyone if you want to be treated with any respect while dining at...

An over 30s Christmas bottomless brunch was advertised on their social media page so I booked it for a group of 5. However, when we turned up there was no such event on! I asked if we were in the right place cause we booked an over 30s Christmas bottomless brunch but a lot of the people were a lot younger than 30 and there was no Christmas music or anything playing. The waitress didn't even seem to be aware that the event was taking place and replied that they would never turn people away for being under 30 and they promote Christmas all the time! There was no DJ, no Christmas music and no special event on. It was just a normal lunch! Very disappointed as we were expecting a Christmas event. I've been to another bottomless brunch in another venue in Cork and it was amazing. Great atmosphere and regular top ups of prosecco. However, here there were very few top ups and as I said, it just felt like a normal lunch in there and not an event. There was no atmosphere, no DJ, no one up dancing or having fun. It was very false advertising! I will never attend a 'bottomless brunch' here again as it's just lunch! I'll stick to the other venue that knows how to do amazing...

Been here a few times at this stage. Whether visiting for chips, dinner, pints, cocktails, spirits, the spirit of the venue itself, a match, some light music and a chat with friend(s) this place tends to deliver… very rarely have I come away thinking I should have gone somewhere else. The staff are fierce professional and even allow some of their personality to shine through at times when serving tables. Yet to get to know anyone by name really but have ended up somewhat a regular overtime over the whole package on offer at this place. With two separate menus for food entirely, depending on which entrance you enter into (but the same group of staff managing both), you’re sure to find something you like whether you’re in for quick bite, a drink and a small bite, a full dinner or a coffee/tea and a bit of sport in a television / to listen to some light music. Atmosphere is obvious upon entering this place too and the staff do their best! From my experience they are very sweet, humble and attentive where possible too while doing what they can to treat every table equally … can’t expect more than this at all, any more is completely brownie points 😎

The best pub in Cork city . I was so lucky the manager Pat let me in when there was no one around to take the photos If your visiting Cork this place is a must . It’s screaming of character everywhere. It’s got a wonderful feel to it if you want a bus then go to the pub if you want the garden outside of the lovely Zen feel you’ve got that too. They cater for hen and stag parties where you can have your own private area all to yourself . It’s one of the nicest pubs I’ve been in in a long time the food is fantastic the atmosphere is great super location right in the centre of Cork city . All the staff got together in Covid and did the pub up and put their own personal touch and colour and positive happy joyful cheerful feel to the place . I can’t wait to come back with some friends and show off this wonderful pub the best that Cork has to offer. It doesn’t matter if you’re eating inside or outside a lot of care and attention was put into making you the customer feel special .

My group did brunch on a Sunday. Would not recommend it for a multitude of reasons. Service was slow, most of our group did the bottomless. We had to ask to be topped up. Only after 45 minutes did we get an unprompted top-up. This pattern continued throughout, staff just disappeared for long periods. Staff were nice and friendly though, it seemed more of a management issue. The food was limited. Just chicken dishes, or a waffle dish. No eggs on a brunch menu?? Come on. We had to repeatedly ask for basic things like ketchup, salt, water, etc. The bar was a little run down, the table was dirty and the mens toilets stank badly. At the end of the meal we were also overcharged, which they did refund when we poinged it out. You'll get a better experience and more value elsewhere.
