Met a friend for brunch. There's parking in a small carpark across the road as well as on the main road. It's adjacent to the Lough Bird Sanctuary so it's a busy place for parking with people strolling around the Lough etc. Excellent selection on their breakfast menu, lots of people opting for a granola cup which looked amazing Loads of gorgeous looking cakes to have with a cup of tea or coffee. You can eat inside or outside. Lovely serving staff. There are some steps to navigate depending on where you'd like to sit but steps can be avoided also. Not open that long, called The Black Swan now apparently....at least that is what the menus etc....

Read moreFour of us went for lunch today, we had a table outside with a lovely view of the Lough. I ordered the warm chicken salad. I asked the server at the counter if it was GF. On hearing my enquiry the chef came out to discuss how he could tweak the dish to cater for Coeliac. It was one of the nicest salads I’ve had and I eat a lot of them as it’s often the only option on a menu! My friends ordered the toasted special & an open sandwich.
