Located beside a stream in the leafy grounds of University College Cork, the straight concrete lines and curved wood exterior of the building hints at something a little more than ordinary.
Inside, the large open exhibition spaces are framed by large windows and that leafy corner of Cork outside.

Read moreIt's difficult to know how many stars to give The Glucksman. The setting is beautiful and the building is interesting although looking a bit tatty these days. The restaurant, in it's current incarnation, is good and a nice place to be on a sunny day. As for the exhibitions, they are often extremely dull and seem to be more interested in being worthy and socially relevant and ticking off a series of curatorial boxes than in presenting visually arresting artworks that work on their own terms.
