Cooks Lane Cafe & Deli — Restaurant in County Clare

I visited this place recently and really enjoyed the food and the cozy atmosphere – everything on the menu was delicious, and the environment felt warm and welcoming. However, I feel it's important to mention that I was deeply disappointed to discover that one of the staff members has been actively engaging in online hate, including writing racist comments and participating in online bullying. This kind of behavior does not align with the values of respect and inclusivity that many of us hope to see reflected both in real life and online. I've attached a photo showing just one example of the harmful things this individual has posted. Sadly, this is not an isolated incident. I hope the management takes this seriously, as the actions of even one employee can negatively affect the reputation of an otherwise great establishment. From the moment we went inside we were greeted with the best customer service ever by the male owner/manger.

We went after santa experience in dunnes for the ever famous potato hash which was delicious. We had a 20 month old with us and he got a chair for her straight away. Colours and paper.

They took our orders and came straight down with a fruit bowl mixed with everything for the little one. Kept her entertained throughout. For came out so fast, tasted lovely and coffees were great.

Veggie breakfast was 13 euro which thought was pricey but to find out when I was paying the bill that tea was not included. So for a veggie breakfast I paid 14.50. Understandably hotel prices but not cafe prices. It was noted on menu tea and toast included. My daughter had a protein breakfast which was 13 euro. She was charged extra for her glass if milk price 1 euro a glass. Chips were 3.50 which were not nice.

Service was so slow.

In total for two people for breakfast was 33 euro. Ridiculous prices.
