We went there because musicians were annouced at 6:30. So we where there at 6. 6:40 : the musicians start to arrive, one by one. Except the 2 fiddlers, they donc take their instruments, but just talk and laugh together. We wait. At 7 they finally play some music, like to tune their instruments. 3mn later, they stop playing, put down their instruments, and re-start talking and laughing. The accordeonist goes to the bar to order beers for him and his friends, and then stays at the bar talking with another guy. 7:20, we leave, with a few words to the waitress about the behaviour of the musicians ... Read moreI visited the Diamond for the first day of the Cheltenham racing festival with some friends . This is a beautiful cosy bar with great bar staff . The owner was working behind the bar both he and his staff were were friendly and service was fast . As the day wore on the bar supplied baskets of sausages and chips on the house .
