During his time my husband has had many fish and chips. And he is by no means a professional. We went to this shop on a sunday evening. The counter staff was phenomenal, and a credit to the business. The portion side was good, the presentation was great, and the pricing was good. However, the batter was too heavy, too greasy, slimy, and the grease seeped through six layers of paper. The chips weren't the best, but they were good. The cod had no flavor. Either because it wasn't cod or it had been left in the freezer for too long. To help the flavor of the cod, it should be fresh and made to order. It may take longer but the wait will be worth it.

The dirtiest takeaway by far in letterkenny. Behind the counter where they cook the food there is no clean as you system. Just bits of burnt food all over the counter. It’s so busy in there they lack focus on serving top quality food.

Got my order only to find the food was caked in oil!! And the smallest portion of curry dip which they charge an extortion price!

Maybe it's because I haven't been raised around here, but I have never had such greasy, weird-tasting potato chips and battered haddock. We brought home some to reheat later (terrible choice on its own) and the amount of lard that dripped onto the lower oven plate made me re-think my life choices.
