Letterkenny Town Park — Attraction in County Donegal

Lovely town park. Ideal for all ages, walking, running, kids, fitness etc. Well laid and surprisingly well kept and clean for such a large town, brilliant work for those involved in the upkeep. Park itself has a quirky character to it if you really explore walking around it, has a large green, a outdoor gym for all ages and capabilities, 2 large play grounds for all age groups that again the up keep is outstanding. For someone in rural Donegal letterkenny town park is pleasantly surprising and a must go for anyone who hasn't yet been. A great park to take the kids, exercise, walk or have a picnic. The only reasons for 4 stars are the lack of decet toilets, a coffee shop that only opens Mon-Fri business hours (so weekends, useless) and no place to escape a quick rain shower, so typical of this region. A few covered spaces, even if without walls and such for mischief would greatly help especially during rainy months. The open spaces are well kept, the toys for kids and outdoor gym for adults are well maintained and it is overall very well...

Has an opening and closing time, it's the town park, stop closing it at night, I like walking there at night. There's too many Gardai there, makes everyone feel uncomfortable, especially with how unmannered and powertripping they are.
