We have visited as a family on a number of occasions however I am sad to say after our last experience we will not be back.

We arrived late in the day however well within the opening hours and ordered a cake and sandwich. The coffee cake was lovely and we decided to order another slice - a positive I guess!

The member of staff had taken our order and returned to the table a few moments later to say they couldn’t provide us with another slice of cake as they were closed, having taken the order moment before I was taken back when he returned with this.

I was annoyed at this service and decided to mention this when paying for the bill, the lady server taking payment was less than interested with a horrible attitude, she responded “I’m only a worker here and we close at 4” when I enquired why they didn’t inform us before taking our original order she responded “you got your order, do you want another slice of take to take away”

Given the lady’s abrupt attitude we left it there.

I don’t write negative reviews lightly given the the difficulties small businesses face, but unfortunately this is the third time I’ve found issues in this cafe this summer (the other two was similar - lacking any form of customer service and staff being abrupt and appearing disinterested in their customers requests).

We won’t be back, I hope the people connected to the cafe read these reviews and are able to offer some training or advice to staff as the food...

Was in on the 4th of may at 3 oclock , asked the server for a ham and cheese toastie and she asked would i like to add on soup so i said yes , my partner also got a sandwich but did not want soup with his originally . About 2 minutes after we orderd he changed his mind so i went over to server and asked could he add on the soup to his sandwich. When paying it cost €32.50 and we only had one drink . I asked for a receipt, and then seen the server had charged me for 2 full portions of soup so i went back over and asked her was there a mistake, she then proceeded to tell me it was my fault i was not more specific . Even though she offered the add on of the soup and it clearly states on the menu add on soup to a sandwich for €3.50 Was very disappointed, left and paid and...

Ordered the "In house beef Lasagna" i have to say it was probably the worst lasagna I've ever been served. The menu makes it sound as if it's made by them but I'm pretty sure it's a frozen bought in lasgna" there was no sauce in the lasgana , it was as dry as could be, the pasta on top of the lasgana looked and was equally tough as a bit of leather. So even if it was homemade the chef should be embarrassed to let something like that leave the kitchen. If was obviously microwaved as the dish was ultra hot. I have cooked in s kitchen and can tell the difference. The staff could see my disgust for the dish and were good to approach and ask if everything was ok. They changed for...

A very busy service time when I arrived.a fairly varied menu. I didn't see lunch menu, so cant comment on the choices I enjoyed poached eggs and toast. A good mix of families and tourists filled all the tables. Service was quick enough, staff were busy clearing resetting and taking orders. One comment, carrying too many items that you can barely manage looked awkward and messy. I understand its busy. Didn't look professional. I enjoyed my meal, and will certainly be back.

We stopped in here for breakfast after checking out from our Airbnb. This is the second time we visited here and were very impressed with the options on the menu, the value for money as well as the quality of the food. We had a lovely pancake stack with maple syrup, fried egg and bacon. The coffee was freshly brewed and full of flavour. We thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere and will definitely be back next time we visit Letterkenny .

Beautiful wee café with good choice of brunch to suit everyone. The atmosphere is so quaint and cosy and the staff are all lovely, very accommodating and friendly. I had the poached eggs which were a bit over for my liking but that’s my fault for not asking! Really quick service and nice tasting food.
