Bamboo Foods — Restaurant in County Donegal

Today was my first experience at Bamboo, and unfortunately, it was quite disappointing. The elderly gentleman at the till was so rude to us. I asked if they accepted the Shop LK gift card, to which he rudely responded, "No." I pointed out the sticker beside the till indicating that it says accepted here, but he replied rudely, stating that their new machine does not accept it.

Despite this, we all order our food. Out of us, I ordered the chicken fried rice, which was below average. The chicken in the fried rice seemed undercooked or possibly not fresh. We also ordered chips, which were served without any seasoning. When I brought this to his attention, he again responded rudely, stating that I had ordered the wrong type of chips and that it was my fault. He went on to say there was nothing he could do and even he started charging me for a new portion of chips. As it was my first visit, I wasn’t aware of the differences in their menu.

Furthermore, the chips we were served appeared to have been reheated rather than freshly prepared.

Overall, my experience was disappointing.

Never had any issues with the food, always top notch. But the service this past 2 orders I’ve made hasn’t been the best. Few weeks ago, I was missing a fried rice and bottle of 7up from the order, rang and was told I would get it the next time I order. Got that sorted. Next order was I missing a portion of sauce for the 4 in 1 and a large chips. Was told I could get these added to my next order. Also ordered 3 bubble teas at the same time and waited over 30 mins for them, even though my hot food order was ready. Asked for a refund as I hadn’t time to wait, and was told they would be ready soon. The order was placed at 6.05 for a 6.30 collection and it was 7 before I got the 3 teas. We ( me ,my wife and one kid) had visited this resturant first time and billed more than 50 Euros which is quite high for this resturant for 2 adults and 1 child.There is one person called Paul who is very rude.The resturant closes at 11, it was my kid who was taking her last bite.This person came and ordered very roughly to get up and leave the resturant immediately. We said let her finish in 1 more minute and not to behave like this.He mentioned to leave immediately again and started shouting mentioning don't want us to come again. I heard many people also the same feedback about Paul that he is behaving like this.Not sure if the owner would know this but due to him many of the people is not going to the resturant further.Also in Ireland these behaviour...
