Very dissapointing service. The food for the starter & main was faultless but there was an error in dessert. This was fine and after the confusion was sorted it was agreed that the dessert we ordered (that had been missed) would be provided. 15 mins later, and without the dessert we were informed that we would not get the dessert and that we would have to pay and leave as the table was needed. No compensation was offered and we were more or less told to get out.

I would not recommend this place to anyone following our experience, which is very unfortunate as up til the dessert everything was very good. The service and the management of the mistake was woeful. Very unhappy with spending €300+ here, won't be doing that again.

Thank you very much to head chef and owner Brian on calling up and offering a personal apology and the offer of a free meal to my mum. The personal call and apology was definitely something we were not expecting and very much appreciated.

What a brilliant night at dinner. First time visiting this new restaurant at the very centre of town and blown away. Very unassuming from outside but the dining room upstairs is a beautiful boutique room with a warm feeling and comfortable seating. Great staff, friendly and welcoming. But the food was the star, just amazing. Had the short rib as a starter, off the bone, soft as butter and served so simply with an exquisite gravy and crispy onions. Never had better. Main course was crispy chicken, delicious, served with a polenta that was just to die for. My family also tried the falafel starter and the whipped goats cheese, and had the lamb. My son brought me here yesterday evening as a birthday treat and what a treat it was! Exceptional, the finest food and wine, has to be experienced as words can't do justice to the quality, flavours and pairings of the very best of local ingredients all overseen by chef Brian who takes the time to talk with everyone and ensure all are happy with everything No detail is overlooked from the beautiful embroidered napkins to the presentation of each dish an artwork to be savoured and enjoyed!
