OK first off let me say the head waiter guy is not a very happy bunny. We got no greeting, just asked our name and then he was gone. We didn't know whether to follow him or what to do. We got to our table and we had no cutlery or menus for about 15 mins. I had to ask him to bring them to us. We even witnessed an eyeroll from him. We weren't over demanding either, just asking for simple things like drinks etc.

After our meal was when I witnessed people leaving a table but bringing their drinks... And then the head waiter guy bringing more people over to the uncleaned and unsantised table. I was disgusted. The tables are not socially distanced and there are lots of people just standing around drinking no food being bought so it certainly not covid safe at all.

Have been coming her for 20+ yrs .. always get great meal.. well until yesterday... Got a meal yesterday evening that was gross.. to say the least.. ordered chicken pitta pocket... out came a chicken smothered in a pasta sauce 🤢 .. Young waitress tried hard to tell me that's what the menu said .. Chicken Pitta pocket ; cajun chicken , Vegetables, and a garlic alioli... NOT . The revolting mess placed in front of me... Not a fresh veg to be seen!!!... As nobody wished to listen to me in pub.. thought maybe they mite through here... Toilets as usual were spotless... just food def 000%.. change of chef...

Went back recently for their steak night. I'd the ribeye, friend had the steak sandwich. Both were very well presented. Unfortunately my steak was over cooked nearly welldone when ordered medium rare, friend steak sandwich was actually cooked brilliantly, seems to be very hard to get a, steak cooked to requested temperature so a bit strange that there was such a difference.

The Peper sauce was amazing.

Atmosphere was very dead, it was early on in the evening but still felt very sterile and still.
