Loaves and Fishes — Restaurant in County Westmeath

I recently had the opportunity to dine at Loaves and Fish, and I must say that their seafood soup and sandwiches were quite enjoyable. The seafood soup had a rich and flavorful broth, filled with a variety of fresh seafood that was cooked to perfection. It was a comforting and satisfying dish.

The sandwiches at Loaves and Fish were also quite good. The bread was fresh and the fillings were tasty. They offered a nice selection of ingredients to choose from, allowing for customization based on personal preferences.

The service at the restaurant was attentive and friendly. The staff was knowledgeable about the menu and provided prompt service throughout our meal.

While I did enjoy the soup and sandwiches, I felt that some of the other dishes on the menu could have been more flavorful or better seasoned. Additionally, the portion sizes for the sandwiches were slightly smaller than I had expected.

I haven't been here in such a long time and I so regret that. I visited during lunchtime in midweek. You could have seating in the sunshine or shade (all indoors), we chose the shade. There is a lovely fresh feel to this eatery and everywhere is spotless. I was catching up with a friend and the waitresses gave us plenty of time to order. The waitress recommended the special and sold it to us so beautifully that we couldn't pass it up. The special was a salad dressed with new potatoes, black pudding, chopped bacon and a poached egg on top and it was seasoned to perfection. I had a pot of hot tea which can be hard to get sometimes. The service was absolutely fantastic. Our waitress was extremely helpful and patient with my family (we asked too many questions). She suggested the chicken tenders because they are made in house and they were absolutely amazing! The serving of fries was generous and the side salad was fresh and tasty. My husband had the southern chicken sandwich and said the roll was amazing (as well as the rest of the sandwich). He also enjoyed his minestrone soup but seemed to gravitate back to my chicken tenders and fries every few bites. I would absolutely recommend this...
