If i could give 0 stars i would. Never again. We ordered online only to have their delivery man to wonder around the estate for over 20mins, then pull up outside the house while i was standing in the garden and cancel the order and leave. Then when i rang McDonalds Nutgrove it took 11 calls for them to answer the phone at which stage i was in the store. The man that answered the phone refused to help me or come out to the front counter to talk to me. He just kept saying its not his problem and then hung up the phone. Not to mention i got a plain double cheese on the 21/10/19 that had a small spider in it and again when i rang they said it wasnt there problem and when i went in store no manager would come out to talk to me. We only ordered again cause its around the corner and cheap but as they say you pay for what u get or in todays case you pay and dont get. The staff are slow and dont have a clue and the management are 10 times worse. To be honest and do yourself a favor and stay away from this sorry excuse of a diner. I was stupid enough to go back after the 1st major problem only to get another, and thats not to mention the other small problems over the last 2 years. And for anyone reading the "positive" reviews they are all done by staff. Its part of what you need to do to get the job. 2 of my friends have worked there and where told they got the job but go online and give a good review. Its sad that they stooped to these levels and only care about money. Imagine your child eating a worm from their food..what would you do?? Now i dont have kids im just saying but the staff and management refuse to help in any way...
Read moreMy oldest memory of McDonald's Nutgrove as from the early 90s when I was taken here for a birthday party and they had a little kid;s play area down the back and we all had happy meals and milkshakes and I had never had a milkshake before and we all got very excited and the parents couldn't control us so chaos reigned and we mixed all the leftover food in a big heaving anime like pile and mushed it into the table and the staff were really annoyed and we got asked to leave and then I got sick. That same girl who's party it was had a graduation party years later when we were about to do out leaving cert and I think I threw up after that too. Maybe it wasn't a party but I definitely remember being there. Isn't' it mad the things that kick off a bit of nostalgia in the brain. Anyway, I don't really eat McDonald's now that I'm in my 30s, but the occasional drive through is handy where you're running late for some morning routine thing on a weekend cause you schedule these things to avert your eyes from the tasty tasty pints and wine and fun. Of course I want to go to a...
Read moreWent to the drive thru this morning, I was waiting at the payment window for ages with nobody there. Two cars I front of me had got their food and gone. I drove forward to the collection window and there was nobody there either.
Cars had started to pile up behind me and I was asked to drive around and wait in the que. I said no I am in a rush and the employee just walked away.
The manager came out and said we were busy and under staffed, I didn’t have cash I just had Apple Pay on my phone. I asked him could he bring the wireless card machine to the other window and said no. I was then asked am I just looking for free food, my order was a coffee and toastie. It was €3, I have never been so insulted and when I said no my order was €3 he said I can give you a discount and give it to me for €2.
Safe to say I will not be returning as I use the drive thru 4 times a week for coffee and bring my kids on a Saturday. I will be telling friends and family to go somewhere else if this is how a globally known business can allow a manager run their...
