So where do I start, from street coming up to stairs it’s all dirty looks like no one cares to sweep up or do anything. Whole restaurant looked outdated unclean. Waitress set us table wasn’t properly set ( there was no cutlery or napkin on table) anyways we went ahead. Her uniform looked unwashed not clean at all. Comes to food starter was okey , main course duck is swimming in some horrible souse sweet chili , underneath few pineapple. Mix seafood is frozen from shop I can tell straight and swimming in some very thin choo chee souse. Whole restaurant looked more like Chinese than Thai. I’m in Asian my self and I know my food very well. Restaurant felt not good management or care towards, very empty abundant. When you have loads computation round I truly don’t understand how they get away with it. Lady’s were seating next to us went in toilet had to tell staff there was no toilet paper in there. How can staff don’t check up before they open ? I can only imagine owners want close that place or just don’t give a toss. My partner and I have been ordering frequently from Narra Thai for a year and a half now since we moved in to the general area, and I have to say they are the best, delicious, consistent, and customer centric restaurant going, and I couldn’t recommend them more for utterly delicious Thai food. We haven’t eaten in just yet as we moved to the area during the pandemic, but even for takeaway it is in-house quality, impressive food. Their dishes are absolutely lovely, and portions are perfect. We particularly love their red curry, massaman, yellow curry, spring rolls and wontons. On top of that, their delivery staff are such a pleasure. What truly sets Narra apart and puts them top of absolutely any list for service, delivery and quality is how amazing their staff are and how swiftly they deal with any feedback. Worst experience ever. Went all the way there for the vegan pad Tai for the staff member to a. Say I can't have it, just the entire vegan menu or nothing and b. try to charge me more for the dish when I insisted I can order just that (showing him their online menu). My shoes were sticking to the dirty sticky floor while he stood there arguing with me for maybe 7 minutes telling me that it's "not his problem" and that he "just works here". I ended up ordering the dish I wanted on my phone in front of him while in the restaurant and paid less than what he wanted to charge me including the processing fee. Food was handed to me a couple minutes later just for a nice server to jump on me and take it away 30 sec later since it wasn't, in fact, vegan. Never again, and I suggest that staff would respect clients, especially when there is another great Asian restaurant 2 yards away, and assuming that price...
