Absolutely unacceptable. I ordered a full chicken breast portion with rice and was served a half-sized portion, soaked in way too much sauce. After I ate, I raised the issue politely — only to be told I’d still have to pay the full price unless I wanted extra chicken after the fact. That’s manipulation, not service. I felt robbed, disrespected, and treated like a fool.
This is straight-up dishonesty !
“Woe to those who cheat in trade, those who demand full measure for themselves but give less to others. Do they not think they will be resurrected on a great Day?” — [Surah Al-Mutaffifin, 83:1–5]
Cheating people might earn you a few euros now, but it earns the anger of Allah in the long run. Shameful behavior.
A QUICK RESPOND !to your feedback about my English and chatgbt help :
I didn’t learn English in school or grow up speaking it perfectly ,and yes, it’s not even my first language ,it’s my third language . that’s why I asked for help writing my review, just to keep it respectful and not say something wrong, especially since your shop is near the masjid. But instead of addressing the actual issue, you chose to mock me. That’s not professional and it’s not an act of someone ruled a business for 40 years , and honestly, it shows more about your character ,that you don’t care about people, only your reputation, and you try to shut down any negative feedback that’s my humble opinion of course .
And yes, I only have 3 reviews. You know what that means? I’m not the type of person to talk about every business. I eat, I go. I don’t speak unless the service is excellent or something really bothered me.
and Stop talking about the 40 years experience please , it doesn’t prove anything
Anyway I’ve said my bit. Good luck with your business.
Ps : this one without any help, i hope i didn’t say something wrong or harmful or disrespectful, and if i did , please forgive me English it’s not my...
Read moreI recently visited this restaurant located within the Dublin Mosque. First and foremost, I tried the Haleem, a popular dish in Muslim cuisine. While it was good, I must admit that I have tasted better versions of Haleem elsewhere. The flavors were decent, but it lacked that extra depth and richness that makes a Haleem truly exceptional.
Next, I opted for the Lamb Biryani. Although it was decent, I felt that it didn't quite live up to its price. The portion size was reasonable, but the flavors didn't leave a lasting impression. While it satisfied my craving for Biryani, I've had more flavorful and aromatic variations at other restaurants for a similar price.
On a positive note, the Samosas at this restaurant were a highlight. They were well-spiced and had a delightful crunch. Each bite was packed with a savory filling, and I found them to be one of the highlights of my meal. I would definitely recommend trying them if you visit.
Lastly, I decided to end my meal with a cup of Masala Tea. Unfortunately, it didn't meet my expectations. While it was okay, it lacked the boldness and balanced blend of spices that I typically associate with a good Masala Tea. It felt a bit watered down and didn't provide that comforting warmth and aromatic experience I was hoping for.
As for the ambiance, being situated within a mosque added a unique touch to the dining experience. The atmosphere was calm and serene, which made it a pleasant place to enjoy a meal. The restaurant itself was small and cozy, contributing to a more intimate setting.
Regarding the service, the staff was polite and attentive. They promptly took my order and ensured that I had everything I needed. However, the service could have been more proactive and engaging, as I felt it lacked a...
Read moreI previously gave Al Khair a 5-star review as I always had a positive experience with their food and service.
However that changed quite suddenly last night.
The food was late by almost an hour.
Moreover, the food was not up to standard; it was very, very greasy. So much so that I struggled to even eat it (see attached images of the level of grease in that dish -- which I paid over 15 euros for).
The quantity of meat was also reduced. The tandoori chicken was also nowhere near as tender and moist as before.
If this continues, Al Khair will have lost a very regular customer. There's nothing worse than drops in standards, especially very low standards...
