The owner runs it on his own now and is well established there for the last 20 odd years.

Pictures line the walls of all the celebs and dignitaries who have visited over the years the owner himself is approachable for a chat when it's not busy.

This is the 2nd time we've eaten here. Deke is an absolute gentleman and a real Dublin character. My daughter had the Goujon meal chips & drink. I had the half pounder burger meal chips& drink total was €20.50 excellent value. The burger is definitely worth trying 👌 totally fresh & dripping in flavours. Definitely 8 out of 10 on the food. I'd highly recommend the burger meal good quality beef & fresh crunchy veg. Well done Deke! We will be back. ...

Like so many others I’ve passed Deke’s so many times and never stopped. We are so glad we did - best hotdog and chips anywhere (confirmed by my son).
