Random spot that I checked out as I was really hungry and I was a bit confused by the decor until I realized it was inside a religious place/ church.

That being said, it was no big deal at all as the staff was beyond friendly and the food/tea HIT THE SPOT!

Traditional Irish Breakfast done right and the tea was superb - warm, proper kettle and given proper time to mix properly.

In addition, the breakfast was on point, ABSOLUTELY loved the entire meal however those sausages and beans were FRESH.

In addition, the staff was beyond friendly and it felt that my money was actually going into a good cause as well. Great job Fair Play Cafe!! Keep up the great work and the...

The name Fair Play feels rather ironic after my visit. I popped in hoping to grab a coffee to go, accompanied by my dog. Instead of a warm greeting, I was met with a raised hand from what appeared to be the owner, signalling that I should head outside. I obliged immediately, yet even then I wasn’t offered the chance to purchase a takeaway coffee. A simple, polite explanation would have been appreciated – and frankly, a takeaway option should have been the obvious next step. Sadly, the encounter felt unwelcoming and far from the hospitality you’d expect from...

What a gem of a place! I was introduced to Fair Play Cafe by a work colleague who used to frequent. The cafe is built into/onto the side of a church. The first thing I noticed was a sign detailing what the cafes solar panels were generating, and how much C02 they offset. The staff were super friendly and there was a friendly community vibe. There is seating inside and out. The menu is simple, toasted sambos, chips and soup. There are also coffee and cakes if U fancy a sweet bite. The food was lovely, reasonably priced and promptly served. Great spot...

We were the first and only customers when we arrived right when they opened. This was our first Irish Breakfast and it did not disappoint. The food exceeded our expectations. I still can’t stop thinking about the porridge bowl and scones that I had. Also, best hot chocolate ever! Loved the full Irish breakfast as well. This place is off the beaten path and it’s a quaint converted church, it’s in a residential neighborhood. We were walking the River Liffey and found this spot by chance. What a wonderful surprise! We already can’t wait to come back!
