A phenomenal choice! I'm from Seattle in the USA, and this was hands down the most pleasant experience I have had at a bar in I don't even know how many years. Between my partner and I we tried at least seven cocktails, and every single one was its own culinary experience of robust flavors and surprising twists even for classic drinks. Jessica was running the bar by herself, and she was equally attentive to all patrons, supremely amiable, a joy to chat with, and all around very welcoming. She definitely made our night! The drinks were very reasonably priced (read: unreasonably cheap for the value), and the ambiance was impeccable. Highly highly recommend coming here, and I only wish I were staying in Dublin for longer to be able to come back here...

On a three occasions now the pints of bud or coors haven't been nice and have had to ask them to change it. Place has no atmosphere anymore. Feels very cold when sitting in for a drink or food. Food not the best at all even for kids. Frozen chips and cocktail sausages. Place has definitely gone downhill since it was took over. Change of staff and managers have really knocked it back. Not sure if it was the general manager or person who runs the place, but definitely staff, a grey haired man sitting in the corner just watching everyone with his foot on the stool not even a drink or food in front of him. Very intimidating and not even a smile for his staff...

It is unacceptable that the pub owner refuses to serve tap water with meals on sundays, low drink sales on sundays revealed as the underlying reason. During our last visit, we initially believed the water might be dirty, but after being refused again the following sunday, we became suspicious. The excuses often include claims of a broken tap or dirty water, which none appear to be true. This behaviour is not only unprofessional but also a violation of the law. Such actions should be reported to the appropriate authorities. It is disappointing to see the pub using such dishonest tactics, shame on the owner for compromising the...

Came here for a bite and had the fish and chips. They were nice. I’ve had it cheaper and I’ve had it more expensive as well. I would say check the menu beforehand. This is priced higher as a restaurant, not as a chippy. Pros and cons to that of course. As long as you know what you’re looking for ahead of time, you’re grand. I shared the photo and price to by friend in Wicklow working in Dublin l, he wasn’t keen on the price for a small amount of food. Surely we can throw on a few more chips for these costs.

Called in for something to eat as they serve hot food up to 9p.m. It was mid week and not may people in the pub. There was a bit of a wait for the food. But I have to say we both really enjoyed what we got. The staff we very friendly and the food and drink prices aren't bad. There are lots of seating and plenty of T.Vs and big screens to watch any of the sporting events on. They also have an off licence if you need a carry out.
