We ordered the 해물파전 seafood pancake (Crispy light batter with spring onions, squid, mussel, Clam and prawn), the 뚝배기불고기 Stone cauldron beef (Tender beef bulgogi with glass noodles, Spring onions, mushrooms and beef broth) and the 파닭 Padak (Fried chicken topped with crunchy vegetables spring onion, carrots and red peppers poured with a soy sauce and vinegar seasoning). The seafood pancake was generously stuffed with seafood however it was way too mushy and not light at all. On top of that it was way too greasy and heavy. I think it needed a bit more time on the stove to make it crunchy on the outside. The stone cauldron beef was ok, the broth was nice but it lacks depth and the portion seems very small although there was a lot of beef but lacked noodles. It came with a bowl of rice so in the end it balances out. The padak fried chicken batter was delicious and the crunchy vegetables along with the sauces were so refreshing and zingy it was nice and cut through the greasy pancake. Only negative comment is that by using chicken breast for fried chicken unless you do it right it will go dry and this one was so dry I added the broth from the beef cauldron dish.

We discovered this diamond of a restaurant right in central Dublin. Situated where Cow Lane Tapas used to be, Korean Table is a welcome addition to the Dublin food scene and other Korean spots definitely have some serious competition right now. We ordered their seafood pancake and the saucy crispy fried chicken breast. The seafood pancake, which was made with squid, mussels, clams and prawns, was truly delightful as a seafood lover. The batter was so crisp and light and the squid was extraordinarily tender. The fried chicken was super savoury, juicy and filled with many layers of umami and possibly one of the best pieces of Korean fried chicken I’ve ever had. Korean Table also get an A+ for interior design, which contributed to the fantastic atmosphere. With those two dishes and the friendliness and efficiency of the staff, Korean Table has firmly established itself as one of our favourite Korean spots in Dublin and we look forward to returning! Mouth-wateringly outstanding food!

Generous dish of braised beef ribs (galbi-jjim?). Tender short rib meat that fell off the bone and pulled apart delicately, in an unctuous salty-sweet-umami sauce perfect for mixing with rice. A few fresh chilli and spring onion slices for a bit of uplifting kick. Carrots, radish and potatoes round out this great dish to eat for the season. Korean spicy fried chicken (dakgangjeong?). Crunchy exterior, firm chicken inside. Though breast meat, these were cut into size and cooked to not be overly dry and still a bit juicy. The breading and sauce really makes this dish. Not pictured were complimentary traditional side dishes (banchan?) of kimchi, bean sprouts, seaweed, broccoli, lotus root and Korean courgette pancakes. All wonderful! All in all, fantastic food that really felt quite traditional Korean. Prices very affordable. The space is nice but seating was very cramped, and service was a bit shaky because of how completely swamped they are after that Irish Times article!

My experience here was the best possible, so I will dedicate a fair amount of detail to this report. I visited the restaurant with my family, and right at the entrance we were greeted by Vivian, the owner of the place. There were six of us and we needed a table, but there weren't any, so she asked us to wait on the bench at the entrance. I was surprised by how willing and quick she was to accommodate us. With a smile on her face, she patiently explained the menu options to us, including vegan options for my sister-in-law and her husband, without ever showing any kind of annoyance or rush. While we waited for the food, we felt very comfortable in the cozy and familiar environment, very well decorated, to be fair. Before the food, Vivian gave us a delicious starter with cucumber, bean sprouts, and something that I assume was seaweed in three small bowls. Everything was well seasoned and tasty. For the main course, I ordered the crispy chicken with sweet and sour sauce and my wife ordered one of the soups with beef. The crispy chicken breast was insanely good, crispy on the outside and perfectly cooked on the inside, plus the sweet and sour and spicy flavors brought a balanced mix of seasonings to the flavor that really surprised me. I was so surprised by the quality of the food I ordered that I decided to try a little bit of each thing we had ordered just to make sure the standard was the same. Imagine my surprise when I realized that everything was incredibly delicious. The sauces, the dumplings, the meats, the eggs, everything was prepared in a meticulous and exquisite way. I have eaten in many restaurants in my life, but few foods have been so well prepared and so tasty. This restaurant is in my top 5. What a pleasant surprise I had. Lastly, I would like to point out that the service provided by Kate, the waitress, is also five stars, always with a smile on her face, very polite and welcoming. Paraphrasing Anton Ego, I will certainly be back and very hungry. Thank you very...

Update - I went to visit again, this time booking a table in advance. However, the way it was organized was that 3 groups of 2 people share 1 table. This makes for very awkward spacing, and you're crammed together with people overhearing their conversation and having very limited space to eat. If you book a table, you should get your own table, and not one-third of a group-share table with 2 other, separate bookings. I was stuck in the middle and I just didn't enjoy it. I heard similar grumblings from the other two bookings, who were similarly unimpressed. You cannot have a romantic meal whilst joined at the hip to other bookings at the same table. That said, the food was great as usual, but I was very disappointed to be crammed together with 2 other random bookings on the same table. Please sort this out.

What a fantastic new addition to the area!

What's great is how different Korean Table are. It's not the same old Korean restaurant-style experience. It's better, and tastier!

We went and, for sure, they seem to be starting off. No professional menus, and no website to speak of. That said, we learned we went only 2 weeks after they started. But despite this infancy, we were glad we tried their food.

The food is quite simply delicious. We tried a diverse range of the menu, and I have no complaints. The portion sizes are great! The chicken was absolutely fabulous; so unique and so tasty. The sides are amazing; a wonderful addition and very welcome.

Service was great throughout, though sometimes I wondered whether they could do with an additional waiter to help things along.

All in all, a must-visit place if you're in the area. Looking forward to coming back to try more...

We ate here this evening. The food was absolutely amazing, genuine, top quality “Korean Table” …. As the name suggests. Our host and owner Vivian Cho delivered on every level. I will definitely be back with any of my friends I can get my hands on. Best of luck in this venture Viv, and I hope more and more people get to experience what we did her this evening 👍👏👏👏

We were here again yesterday evening (May 9th, 2025) and - if possible - things have only got better here. We came for a quiet celebration of my Son’s birthday - just him, his girlfriend and me

Like last time the food was absolutely delicious - virtually delicious taste explosions all around! What I particularly liked were the little photo album type menus with each dish described beside a photo of same, and the actual dish, when it appeared was exactly as pictured

There was one young waiter taking care of the entire restaurant, which was full - except for 4 places. He was efficient, calm, friendly and attentive to every customer there - well done young man!

The portions were extraordinarily generous - there being enough for our dinners today too!

My sons girlfriend has 2 glasses of the red house wine which she declared “lovely”

Well done Viv, may you continue to enjoy your success, you absolutely...
