Hynesbar is located on Prussia Street in Stoneybatter and comprised of classic Dublin pub interiors with an incredible, award winning beer garden surrounded by intriguing art. Since its grand opening a few years back the new owners Natasha and Jacob have taken this bar to a whole new clientele and delved into hosting an array of events such as trad sessions, open mic nights and markets that bring together local craftspeople. Hugely popular with Gaeilgeoirs as well as the locals and their Dogs, this place is truly unique and we are happy to report Hynes is undergoing a full technology upgrade with high speed card terminals which won't fail the customer. Having partnered with the steets, serving up delicious vetitnamise street food, the food offering is excellent and...

Great pub, great food. However, one of the bartenders has to be one of the most miserable people I’ve ever met—extremely rude and quite aggressive. It’s really unfortunate for such a nice pub. I visited in December, and he gave me the middle finger after I ordered. At the time, I wasn’t sure if he was joking, but after dealing with him again last night, it’s clear he’s just a negative, angry little man. Give the job to someone who actually enjoys dealing with people. - the rest of the staff...

The outdoor area was great in summer, spacious and lots of seating.

We sat indoors for the first time last evening - it was not cosy unfortunately (doors open due to Covid) so we left earlier than we would like! Also felt the lighting could be a little softer / warmer.

Food was delicious though with decent portions and the service was very friendly!

We will be back (but probably in summer in their...

Excellent reasonably priced pints, excellent reasonably priced food, a really nice large inside area and a lovely partially covered outdoor area. And rarely, decent tunes! Really great addition to the local area, and a great tribute to one of our greatest pintmen! Love it.

What a nice place for a pinte or a bite. The outsite seating is lovely. You can see how much time and effort they put into the renovation. The new owners served us and were very welcoming and nice. Really recommend this bar to have a good time 👍
