Updated Review: They have started asking for cash, and getting hesitant in accepting card. A couple of weeks back they asked me to Revolut the money as their card machine broke, and today they asked me to get cash next time. This is really terrible, how can a business operate in Ireland with a cash only policy. However, this was not even put up outside the take-away. This makes me think something is not alright, I would not recommend this place due to their switch/ insisting for cash from customers even though they have a working card machine. Highly not recommend any more!!! Really liked the Chicken Karaage. Katsu curry is pretty good as well. The portion size can be improved. Overall I can recommend this takeaway.

I am always a loyal customer of Hasu since I just live in the same area. I tried the spider roll last time and it was really nice. but the one I ordered this time was the most terrible roll I ever had…it was so greasy and there was literally no soft shell crabs in the roll!!! It seems to me just the greasy deep fried dough as you can see from the picture…almost all 8 pieces were like this…I wonder where the crabs go…really disappointed…

Ordered for delivery online waited nearly 1 hours when the food arrived it looks horrendous the tempura prawns were ice cold and pale. Then I opened the dumpling box smash dumplingsd in Greece we also got two different curries but couldn't tell which one was which as they did not label the boxes both look exactly the same. When when I brought the food back there was no argument but I will not be ordering from here again.

I ordered via Uber Eats, and most importantly, the food is delicious. The restaurant is fantastic, spend your money here, just do it in person.

The Uber driver, however, not only did he not read my instructions to leave it at the door, he gave me the wrong order. I didn’t see it until I got back into my place because I’m sick so I grabbed it and ran, but by then he was gone. I called the restaurant and they were so kind, but unfortunately they can’t contact Uber drivers. I went to the Uber app to alert them that it was the wrong order and to see if anything could be done to get this order to the right person (and so the restaurant isn’t out any money), but of course the app suddenly “couldn’t find my order.” After 15 minutes on the app I somehow got a refund (which I hope came out of this giant corporation’s pocket), but no way to make sure that doesn’t go against the restaurant because this was not at all their fault, they are lovely and their food is wonderful. And this wrong order that was delivered to me was perfectly packed. I’m sorry Sara O!

Forget Uber Eats, go...

We were craving Asian food on our last few days in Dublin and Hasu filled the craving for takeout quite well! Sushi was good, the salmon sushi was great! Now I know why they have a menu item dedicated to salmon sushi, it was definitely the star. The chicken ramen was so, so... I've had much better from home out of a cardboard box and heated up. Pad Thai was flavorful and different, I can say I've never had it nearly the same anywhere but it won't be "missed." Salmon skewers, those were a mistake in ordering having a lot of the fat and such on them. The fried rice was awesome! Definitely the star along with the salmon sushi. Sadly the price and overall meal didn't match, and nothing to write home about. Maybe a better experience dining in? Perhaps I don't know what good Asian food is? I'll stick with my Asian good found in the USA just about anywhere, just maybe I'm too used to...

If I was to rate it on the sushi alone, I would have given 5 stars. We ordered lots of food and everything was really fresh and the portions were generous. We ordered gyozas and sushi. The only downfall was when I got to the checkout page, it mentioned 20% off with your first order if you opted into marketing. I agreed but the amount didn't change. I called Hasu who informed me that the promotion had ended. That's not what the online site said. How else would I have known about it? I mentioned it again when I collected the order but of course I couldn't prove it because I was no longer placing my first order. That is disappointing because if the website still shows the offer. If you advertise it, you should honour it. It's false advertising. I'd go back because of the quality of the food but I didn't think this was good...
