Impasto 48 — Restaurant in Dublin

Was really looking forward to this because I heard great things. Ordered a medium pizza and patate piccante. Pizza was so small and super thin! For 11.00 very disappointed compared to other pizza places around. Also didn't travel well, I'm not far from the place and it was pretty cold, a bit hard too as if it was cooked ages before but the delivery was quick. The potatoes weren't good either. They tasted liked plain potato cubes with store bought mixed herbs on top. Meant to come with njuda which I didn't see at all and cheese. There was a bit of cheese at the top but was brown and crispy, not great. Hopefully it was just a once off because of the good reviews but because of my experience I wouldn't order it again. I'm giving 2 stars because delivery was quicker than expected and the garlic dip was lovely. Minus 3 because size of pizza, was cold and wasn't impressed with...

It's a nice place with ok pizza (we have high expectations as we have a Ooni pizza oven), it is of course over any pizza place like Dominos, Pizza Hut, etc as it's using a wood fired oven if I'm not mistaking. Ingredients are good but not very good (like Sano pizza for example where ingredients are really good, especially the sauce). Maybe we have been unlucky cause I just got 2 pizza and edges were completely burned and black (not black spots) and the base had burned spots. There were plenty ingredients but on one of them most were positioned in the middle and with a pizza with such a thin base it was hard to stay clean. 1 pizza wasn't cut into slices, while other one was cut. Personnel was very nice and polite and it was a very short wait.

Ordered a carbonara from here and it was disgusting didn't taste like a carbonara at all. It was very cheesy and tasted sour. I have had carbonaras from loads of places and they have never tasted like this. I have also ordered from this restaurant many times and never had any issues but I was very disappointed this time. I rang and complained about the food and the person I spoke to was very rude and told he thats what traditional carbonara tastes like. I was told I would be refunded my money, I still have not received it 2 weeks later. Very disappointed as I have had really good experiences with this restaurant...
