Great addition to the New Bayside! Shish kebab starter was a bare looking plate , just a few drips of sauces , could have put a bit of garnish on the side , mains were lovely , staff very attentive, however only a minute after our plates were taken from table after finishing mains , a waiter came over and asked did we want to order desserts , we all felt we were under pressure to finish up and leave ! I asked him did he need the table back ? He looked at his watch and replied , yea we pretty much do , in shock I ordered another drink and then another drink , he kept looking at our table , the same waiter did not recommend the lobster tail , the naan bread we ordered with our starters arrived with the mains , as he handed up the mains , I very politely said " you won't forget the naan will you " to which he responded " I only have 2 hands " to cover himself he went to the owner before I could , the owner a very nice man came over and said there was no rush, I will go back to Karachi, but do not want to be served by him !!! I sincerely wish kaphlan all the very best , but that waiter?????? See you...
Read moreNice place with pleasent staff and the food is generally great although not all to my taste. I went with my wife and 2 visitors from Melbourne Australia who I had lived with in the Sultanate of Oman. In that beautiful country we were spoilt with real authentic curries, hot and tasty. That's where I acquired my love of Chicken Tikka masala. At Karachi that dish is a creamy mild version which lacks the punch of those at the Golden Arch in Muscat. Maybe you will like it just like my wife did but its not for me. Now the Rogan Josh lamb and the Karachi special chicken passed my stringent taste test. Sadly the Alu Gobi was a little underdone but eatable. Overall I would go back there again but in reality the Indian in Bray is far superior for my taste buds. Apart from that one in Bray I haven't found a decent Indian restaurant in Dublin and yes I do know that the Karachi is a Pakistani restaurant not an Indian one. Try it for yourself because it does deserve more that the 1 star that some have given it just not...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of dining at Karachi Restaurant and I have to say, I was blown away by both the food and the atmosphere. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted warmly by the waitress and shown to my table in a cozy corner of the restaurant. The menu was equally impressive, with a wide range of options that all sounded delicious. I ended up ordering the vegetable Samosa and Karachi's Special Dish and it did not disappoint. From appetizers to desserts, every dish is prepared with at-most care and attention to detail. The service at Karachi Restaurant is also exceptional, with friendly and attentive staff who are knowledgeable about the menu. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, making it the perfect spot for a romantic dinner or a night out with friends especially during Weekends. Overall, I would highly recommend Karachi Restaurant for anyone looking for a memorable dining...
