Sopranos Takeaway — Restaurant in Dublin

Placed an order for collection on justeat.ie and it was mistakenly set for the following day. Having never encountered this problem, we rang the restaurant to try and fix the problem.

Spoke to a woman on the phone who wasn't sure what to do(which is understandable). She passed the phone to a man claiming to be a manager. I say "claiming" because he took the phone and said "yeah?" and after we explained the issue he rudely asked "What do you want me to do about it?"

Either this man was pretending to be a manager, is woefully untrained or grossly incompetent or a combination of all three.

The only thing that cheeky clown managed to do was ensure the loss of a few...

The food was great. I had fish n chips, and my husband had a mixed kebab plate. He enjoyed it but didn't eat much, big man but small appetite. I wonder if the staff thought he didn't like it. He would have said if he didn't like it. When he gets appetite back, he ll be back. I had smoked fish and chios. Lovely. Fish wasn't overcooked, and chips were tasty. Would recommend the place and would certainly go back. Staff friendly but not in your face. Yep, well...

Disappointing takeaway from here - first time I've ever seen a perfectly rectangular ultra-processed piece of fish outside of somewhere like McDonalds.

Kebab was below average, chips were okay at best, bit tasteless but fine in comparison to the rest. Portions were very small, and they forgot to deliver the can of Fanta I'd ordered.

Delivery was quick, batter on the fish was decent and the chips were okay. Otherwise disappointing, first and last time...
