Saba To Go — Restaurant in Dublin

Saba to go was once my favourite Thai take away in town one or two years ago, until their delivery got slower and slower. As memory recalls the last few times I ordered from them year ago, literally every single time they managed to deliver the order in approximately 60 minutes. I think one or two times even longer like 80 minutes or so. That's why I stopped ordering from them ever since those outrageous experiences. Till tonight, after so long, as for some reason couldn't check out on the Camile site, I decided to give some credit to Saba to go. Anticipatingly, it didn't end up well. Ordered at 9:33 pm and the order came in 10:32. They did give a window saying expected at 10:33 though, therefore I wouldn't give a "formal" complaint. But this branch is by far the one and only I have ever had consistent one-hour delivery experiences while the others usually take 30 to 40 minutes maximum and even charge less delivery fee than them. This part of their quality control is actually really impressive. In order to stay being a happy person, I think this would be the last time I'd ever order from them. Nothing deserves you to put your evening at a high risk to be ruined and end up being unhappy, guess...

Super impressed with my visit to Saba Rathmines today. Excellent service, food was delicious and staff were so friendly ! The staff member took my order , he was really nice and polite and very helpful in explaining the different dishes on the menu. I choose a number 83 and it was an excellent dish. I did not get the name of the staff member who served me but he was either a supervisor or a manager . I could tell this as he was very professional and showed leadership . I would highly recommend Saba and will definitely return . I appreciate the service I get because I am a fussy eater and dont like some ingredients and Saba Rathmines always accommodate me and that is why I always go back . So thank you to all the staff . keep up the good work

Do not order from them! It took 80mins to get the food and they are literally 5mins walk from me (which I have not realised when ordering). It took 20mins for them to confirm the order ?!!! and I fully expected them to cancel but no. Then they said it will be delivered in an hour. They did deliver just shy of 80mins but the guy did not bring the whole order and had to come back!!!! What was really annoying was that the pad thai was not very nice either. Very dry and bland. From reviews online this is not unusual for them. How is this good way to run a business? If you don't have the capacity, just cancel the order.
