I've visited my fair share of teppanyaki restaurants around the world during my travels and I must say this place is one of the best. The staff were lovely and very accommodating. We arrived a little early and as this is not the largest spot they still had one table just for guests like us to wait and have a drink before the next sitting. During the entire visit the staff could not have been any more helpful. We never had to ask for anything or wait for another drink, their timing was impeccable. The food was simply delicious. I've been to as I said a few teppanyaki spots and you will find some places focus more on the entertainment aspect and the food quality is just average. These guys had some of the best Japanese cuisine I have had in all of Ireland. We ordered a sashimi platter to start with and it was to die for. Then there is the show you get, which is why many people come. It was brilliant. Our chef really knew what he was doing and the entire experience was very fun and interactive. It was my girlfriend's first teppanyaki experience and she thoroughly enjoyed everything. We will definitely be back soon and plan to bring some friends. One thing to note, they have limited seating for the grill so you must book at least a week or two in advance.

Wow, what an experience! We were lucky after few minutes waiting behind small bar in the corner with Kirin beer to get the table. Really lucky as this plce is so alive. We ordered Sushi and Sashimi platter (26E) and it was worth it every single cent. So fresh, delicious and with very nice presentation. Colleagues had different sea food grills and they also loved it. When going there, take the seats behind the main bar as the cooks will prepare the meal directly in front of you served directly from the gril into your hot plate on the table together with different kinds of tricks, funny comments and amazing skills. The best is to have here birthday celebration as two guys here are so good at singing with guitar and tamborine birthday and other songs that it creates here reall unique atmosphere mixed with great food and service. Hidden gem of Dublin.

I recently dined at this establishment and found the food to be of good quality, although slightly on the expensive side. I ordered the calamari and steak, and both dishes were delicious in terms of taste. However, I must mention that the portion sizes were relatively small, which left me wishing for more. In particular, the presentation of the steak was a bit disappointing. It was served already sliced, and it appeared as though some parts were missing, giving the impression that it wasn't the full steak as expected. Despite these minor concerns, I overall enjoyed my dining experience. The service was attentive and satisfactory. However, if given the chance to visit again, I would prefer to sit in front of the chefs, as it would enhance the experience by witnessing their culinary expertise firsthand.

Our experience at Tippenyaki in Rathmines was absolutely phenomenal! From the moment we started with the appetizers to the delicious desserts, it truly felt like the food was on another level—everything was a solid 10/10

The chefs cooking right in front of us were a huge part of the experience. Not only were they clearly skilled in what they do, but they were also incredibly friendly and brought so much energy and entertainment to the table. Watching them work their magic with precision and humor added so much to the meal.

One thing we didn't expect was live entertainment. There was a guy with a guitar who had a truly beautiful voice, going around singing happy birthday to people in the restaurant, and he even came over and sang a song just for us to celebrate our anniversary. It was such a memorable touch that really made the night feel special.

And the service? Flawless. Our water glasses were topped up without us even asking, plates disappeared as soon as we finished, and somehow, we never had to wait long for food or drinks. Every detail was looked after.

If I could give this experience more than five stars, I would. Tippenyaki is by far one of the best dining experiences we’ve ever had. This is the kind of place that’s perfect for a celebration or a special night out, and I would recommend it to anyone looking for something...

Attended for the set-menu show with a group of friends. First time being there, and we had an amazing time from start to finish.

Friendly, welcoming staff in a cozy, warm setting who attended to us throughout. Exceptionally tasty, freshly cooked food that was prepared, seasoned and cooked right in front of us. Portion size was just right and everything was very, very tasty.

But, most importantly, the actual 'show' that accompanied the cooking was extremely entertaining and impressive. The chefs working there have some serious skills, and the feats were both breathtaking, surprising and very entertaining. I won't go into any details, as that will spoil the surprise, but I highly recommend the entire experience for anyone looking to take a group of friends or family for something a little different.

In summary: an infused mix of culinary expertise and showmanship that I'll be rambling about for weeks afterwards. Can't...
