ALDI — Local services in Dublin

I'm an Aldi lover and so I'm right at home here. I finally got my doggy bed, he's a very big breed so I was finding it hard to get a bed big enough without spending a fortune bc he's only still a puppy and he'll out grow it so Aldi to the rescue for only €19.99 ?? Where on earth would you find that&is got a waterproof bottom underneath(not that he needs that he's trained) and it zips open so you can't take it apart to put it in the washing machine, I'm so happy I waited for Aldi& I also got a gift for someone (again I'm a perfume collector&I have all the Gucci Flora collection, but was surprised when I spotted a very familiar designed box in red, green, and yellow so I bought them all I knew they were dupes of the Gucci Flora collection)- the red was a dupe for my fave one Gucci flora gorgeous gardenia which comes in a pink box&bottle. So I was able to gift basically the whole collection, except they hadn't got the purple one but that's OK I probably missed it as I did grab the last three, I've bought and re- bought the Gucci flora gardenia one 4 times so I know the scent so well and the red one is almost exactly the same. The lady I gifted the three to was delighted bc she always comments on my ones when I wear them and now she has practically the whole collection in 100ml EDP bottles &had they not been the last 3 I would've grabbed an extra red one for myself or the jasmine dupe- my 2nd fave. Aldi is a little treasure and if you haven't already tried their immune boost shots do, the ginger one is the best, I'm not too fond of the turmeric one but the mango gut health with live cultures shot is lovely too, they're flying out the door if you're only going for one try the ginger it's spicy...

I’m leaving a 1 star review for the “security” guy and not the store itself. My partner and I went into the store yesterday to grab a few bits and the security guy walks through the alcohol section over to us and looks at what I’m holding in my hands and and then stared at me in the face for what felt like forever. He then walks around the pillar and stands so close to us at the pillar that he was literally right beside us. My partner needed to get something from the fridge that he was blocking and I said excuse me and he stared at me for a number of seconds and moved as slowly as he could and tutted at me. I don’t know what his problem was but it actually felt like he was trying to start something with us when we were literally just trying to shop. This is a dreadful place, and I always avoid it now. There is always mayhem at the tills, and I have phoned them to complain about it. One till is open, and the queue goes back to almost the salad fridge area. No sign of another till opening. Badly run. Nightmare. People able to skip the queue. Small amount of special buys. You go on the day of offer, two hours after opening, gone just gone. You'd be better going to a bigger store elsewhere. Their house champagne tasted like a wet sponge that had been left there for weeks, and rose is the most awful and dreadful tasting crap I ever tasted. I'll never forget tasting the Rose at Christmas time. It tasted like dirty nappies!!...
