U Cafe — Restaurant in Dublin

My boyfriend and I went for lunch and we ordered a chicken wrap and a spinach and cheese cake. I felt a funny smell on my sandwich as soon as they serve it on the table. On my first bite I realized the chicken was out of date. No doubt. So that was my first and last bite. My boyfriends food was just eatable, but not fresh at all..Maybe they prepared it days ago! When I went to pay, I realized most of the things they had in the display fridge looked not fresh at all...I should have paid more attention before I ordered. I did not complain at all, but the waitress realized I left the whole wrap on the plate and did not even ask if there was something wrong...Anyway, would never come back and will not recommend...

Service was good. Friendly waiter. Just him in the cafe so he can't serve and cook which means.. the food is pre-cooked. It was done in minutes and all we could hear was the microwave beeping There's no smell of fresh sausage and bacon and my food was barley warm Cost €8.30 for a 'full' breakfast but that included no mushrooms or beans. Just toast, sausage, bacon, egg and black&white pudding. And the toilets ate vile. I had to get my partner to guard the door as the women's door didn't even close and the hand dryer...

I pass this place practically every day and decided to go in today. I ordered a Latte and a Chocolate Muffin. Both were delicious! The owner was so friendly and easygoing. Ok, the place looks a bit tired but don't let that deter you from visiting.Its very clean and It's a great local cafe that deserves customers to enjoy it. They also do breakfast and sandwiches on some hot dishes. The prices are excellent!! Way cheaper than other local cafes. I will...
