Based on my first experience here... I decided to visit here to try their french toast as it had been raved about from one of my colleagues at work. The price wasn't too bad, it was 5.95 for two slices of french toast and they provided syrup and berry compote with it. It was delicious! I also got a cappuccino which was alright, nothing amazing but it was decent. Now my only issue is that my total came to 8.75, I had made sure that before entering the cafe that they took card. When I showed the server my card she said "Oh im sorry we have a minimum of €10 to pay with card." There was no sign up about this so I had to make a quick decision to purchase two scones. And now im reading from other reviews you have a €5 minimum?? Was it increased in the last few weeks or do you just decide on the day what the minimum is going to be? I visited Sunday the 1st of October The interior in the cafe is great! Very clean and modern. The service was very quick and I was given my french toast in about 5-10 minutes. The staff here are nice. They were not very friendly but they were not rude either. I didnt get a "hello" when entering or a "thank you" when leaving - even though I looked at the servers when leaving to say thanks but they glanced at me and quickly looked away again before I could say a word.

The staff was lovely. It didn't look like a cafe or restaurant and the table was very very wobbly - impossible to cut your food and not spill the coffees. The smashed avocado on my sandwich was fairly brown but it tasted fine. The sauce with it was nice, and the eggs were poached very well. They didn't have French toast which, I've got to be honest, surprised me since they did have the bread, eggs and milk. The porridge comes with plastic containers of seeds, jam and honey or syrup. My cappuccino was basically coffee with milk, there was no foam, but it tasted fine.

We needed something quick but hearty on our way out of Killarney before starting a long drive. This was not only fast but delicious and not expensive. I had smashed avo on toast with poached eggs and it was excellent. The coffee was great too. What's pictured was only about €6.95. It's just off one of the main streets so hopefully people find it and give it a try!

We visited your establishment on Sunday morning. Our experience can be summed up as follows; poor service, frustrating waiting times and not remotely enjoyable. We arrived to a lack of clarity on seating and after 10 minutes of no communication with staff, we eventually we took matters into our own hands and sat around a single table. We placed our orders and were looking forward to a lovely breakfast. Our teas/coffees did not arrive. The first order that came out was incorrect. The server was told, he took it away and brought back the same dish and said nothing. When that person was nearly finished their breakfast, 3 more breakfasts arrived and we awaited 1 further breakfast. 4 people had received and finished their breakfasts while the fifth still waited for theirs. At this stage we had still not received teas/coffees despite numerous reminders to staff that we were still waiting on them . After 3 reminders to servers that one of us had not received our food, the order arrived and it was incorrect, despite being reminded each time what it was supposed to be. When plates were being cleared the teas and coffees finally arrived just as we were about to give up and leave. We were very disappointed with our experience and overall conclude that it is a very unorganised establishment with poor...

ADDED INFO to reply (Aug 8th): We visited in the morning of Aug 4th for breakfast. The staff working both behind the glass and serving the food were the same 3 people, even including the person disinfecting the tables (a young man), no one, absolutely no one was wearing a mask or face shield. There was a young ginger girl, and 2 ladies at the till, the young girl and both ladies that served our food had to go back and forth to the kitchen as they got our coffees wrong. At all times breathing and talking to us holding our breakfast and the one that was wrong without any PPE, absolutely disgusted by that. I don't think you need to copy here the HSE guidelines if your staff is not adhering to them and I encourage you to check the footage because I wish they were but they didn't. We are not going to visit again and I hope more people read this review if that would force you to respect the current situation and rectify or train your staff better.

No contact tracing, staff not wearing masks. Food was ok: poached eggs not really cooked, flat white was coffee with some milk poured in there but no foam. Overall wouldn’t recommend this place, definitely not...
