There's so much to see and do here I highly recommend a visit for people of all ages. The gardens and vista are stunning.
Visit the gallery for the best of local talent, while the house contains a mix educational, entertaining & interactive displays covering geology, biodiversity and the history of the area and the house itself and the people who lived there.

A feast for the eyes are the differing shades of leaves on trees at the tail end of autumn and the lake glimpsed sitting below the mountains. Where else will you get such a view. The information provided by the exhibition in the house is enjoyable visually and informative. Easily the best museum I've been in, and surprisingly it's all free entry. The gardens are very well tended and has lots of wild areas for wildlife. Even saw some friendly sika deer.
