Good day. I am a regular Starbucks customer since ever. During the Covid since drive through opened nearby I and my family use it often. The drive through has a caffe area too. Since the restrictions eased I assumed that at least take away is working for walk in customers. This Monday I had extremely busy day at work (WF). I took a lunch break. Though I will walk to Starbucks and will get my coffee to refresh my head. So I walked there- caffe area was closed, only 2 cars to serve and 3staff members inside. I though, I will walk around, waited while customer in a car placed an order and tried to order⊠I was offered to walk to another shop to Liffey Valley. Honestly if I had all the time in the world I would go- but my lunch break is 45 mins and I already spent 20mins walking to the drive through. I understand the âhealth and safetyâ & âstaff shortageâ but a bit of think outside the box and do something nice would be appropriate. 2 cars to serve 3 staff inside⊠Especially when driving through as a family we every week get at least 2-3 full size adult drinks and 2kids size during one go.    Read moreThe service was terrible! I was the only customer, 3 girls standing behind the counter, chatting! I had to wait until the end of their conversation before even being asked for my order! The girl, at the till, eventually expressed a bit of professionality, asking me a couple of questions, but it felt very manual! The other two were still chatting and showed no interest at all to their job! It took one of them several minutes before to even start to make my coffee, looking more interested to leave her position, such that for a second I thought she remembered she had to do something more important and nearly left before to give me my coffee, a simple tall caramel americano! When eventually she gave it to me, I smelled it and notice there was no caramel, when I asked if she put the syrup she barely stop talking with the other one and said "was I supposed to?" Not an apology or anything! đĄ This new generation doesn't understand that their job is actually to offer a service. Not fair for who's paying their wages! First of all, let me say itâs great to finally have a drive through Starbucks in Dublin. But Iâm sure this is easily the worse Starbucks in Dublin.. There are around 3 regular staff and they are great! Very knowledgeable, friendly and generally excellent baristas. Other than them, there are different staff here every time that donât seem to have a clue whatâs going on. Also, YOU NEVER HAVE ANYTHING IN STOCK! Itâs a coffee shop that sells a few cake and sandwich items. And half the menu does be out of stock on a regular basis. Considering the crazy high rents in this complex, I honestly donât know how this shop makes money or is still open. As I say the regular staff make the experience and itâs super handy to make use of the drive through so I will keep coming back, but whoever owns this shop needs a serious wake...
