Came here for an early lunch on a busy Saturday. Service and atmosphere were lovely. Unfortunately was a little disappointed with the food. The mezze bowl was a very small portion, with hardly any hummus, soggy flatbread as it was in a bowl with wet salad, and 5 circles of cucumber (which look a bit silly) not really worth it in my opinion. It was 20euro for a coffee and a mezze bowl. The pastries and other options looked good, so maybe I just got a bad dish.

a Kimchi Sandwich and Spicy pork sandwich here today, and it was absolutely fantastic! As a Korean, I couldn’t quite imagine what it would taste like just from the name, so I hesitated at first. But after trying it, I completely fell in love with it, and I know I’ll be coming back for more. Thank you for serving such an amazing brunch! Their beautiful coffee was also a delight.

Visited The Window Box for brunch with a friend and had an incredible experience! The pancakes were fluffy and delicious, the chai latte was perfectly spiced, and the carrot cake was a delightful treat. The ambiance was cozy and inviting, making it the perfect spot to catch up with friends. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for amazing food and a warm atmosphere!

I don't remember how I discovered The Window Box, but I do remember back in the day I ordered the blueberry pancakes and it was love at first sight, so fluffy and delicious. I was very happy when I heard they were expanding and got a new spot in the same village, (so they went from a food truck to a proper cafe) Anyway, I went a few days ago to try it out and they're still as amazing as always. A wonderful coffee, the pancakes are absolutely delicious, and the granola with yogurt was also very good. Great service, cosy place, child friendly. A little gem in the lovely Rathfarnham village. I'm sending some virtual positive energies so the cafe continues its success! Totally...

Routing for this place. Rathfarnham needs a good cafe. So, while this feedback is negative, it also aims to be constructive. Visited a few times, eating in and takeaway. Coffee is the most expensive in the area, but actually it is also the worst. Completely tasteless and it had no aroma. I think the food is average, but I know many who do. It’s over priced for what you get. It’s a good location, but not enough to bring in regulars. Hope things are tweaked.

Upgraded as it only recently opened and promised tweaking...

I’m a local in the area and have been going to the Window Box for about 3 years - surprised it’s taken me so long to leave a review! The fact that I go to there on an almost daily basis really speaks for itself though. The coffee and food is absolutely delicious and never fails to disappoint. It has become such a popular spot, it’s no wonder the guys are expanding and moving into a new premises just next door. If you’re in the Rathfarnham area, you’re doing yourself a disservice by not stopping into the...
