Lana Clonmel Asian Street Food — Restaurant in The Borough District of Clonmel

I've been going to Lana's since it opened and always found the food to be delicious and the service friendly. with the exception of one visit in the past there have been next to no issues.

Recently my family and I went to Lanas for dinner and were greeted as soon as we walked through the front door. I noticed the lighting wasn't great inside that night, and there was also no water to drink. Something to do with the taps...

I ordered the chicken chow mein noodles, which came out completely appetizing and smelling amazing. They were as spicey and delicious as I remembered them to be. They were also filling, which in my opinion, made them worth the price. I ended up taking my dinner home to finish the next day.

I will say the service was much better than the last time I was there. There was a young waitress the last time that was throwing food to tables and not waiting around 2 seconds before heading off to talk to her friends at the door. I was glad to have an actual waiter who brought the food and listened to our food orders this time.

All in all I'd still come back to Lanas, or at least get take way because it's still...

Came here for the first time yesterday . The food was lovely , the quality and flavour of food was so nice. Not a long wait , Couldnt fault the food at all it was so delicious. However unfortunately the service and staff on shift brought the experience down. My 1 year old was holding the laminated wine menu as we ordered and when we finished she took our menus away and also pulled it from my child . I didnt say anything and grabbed another menu for her to hold as we were waiting for food. The same member of staff came back over took it back out of my childs hands and i asked her what was the issue why cant she hold it until the food comes ( it was laminated so couldnt be bent or ripped or damaged by a 1yearold). Her answer was " the owner wouldnt be very impressed if i had to ring and say their was a damaged menu " That in itself would have me not visit again. She was so unfriendly , slightly rude and very clearly not child friendly. Would put me off even...

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Lana Clonmel Asian Street Food. The restaurant was bustling; however, we did manage to get a seat. I would definitely advise booking a table to ensure that you get in as Lana seems to be quite popular. As busy as it was, the wait staff took our order promptly. Our meal arrived less than ten minutes later. The food was piping hot, fresh and, the colours vibrant. The flavour of the food that we ordered was excellent. The staff are efficient, friendly and helpful. We loved the ambience that emanated from the decor; it had a comfortable, warm, welcoming, and earthy atmosphere to it.
