Raheen House Hotel — Hotel in The Borough District of Clonmel

My partner and I recently got married at this beautiful hotel. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left the staff went out of their way to make sure we felt so welcome. They went above and beyond to make our day so special. Claire and Davie were brilliant and helpful with every step of the planning, they honesty just made the whole experience so wonderful and stress free. Our guests were very pleased with the amazing and attentive service from all the staff members and all the absolutely incredible food throughout the day. From the canapes and fresh scones for the arrival reception, the wedding meal itself, the afters food, to the breakfast the next morning the quality of each and every meal was of the highest. We are still taking about the food and I can safely say will be for the foreseeable future.

I would highly recommend raheen house to any couple that are looking for somewhere to get married. The grounds alone are breathtaking and a perfect location for stunning wedding photos and any outdoor ceremonies. The staff are amazing and will ensure a great experience for everyone. We had our wedding at Raheen House on the 18/4/25 and it was amazing. From the very first day we visited Raheen last year we were blown away by everything about it. The setting and the grounds are unreal and makes for gorgeous photos both in the gardens and inside the hotel. The food is to die for , our guests said the beef in particular was some of the best they had ever eaten. The rooms are beautiful, cosy, tastefully decorated , quiet, and the most comfortable beds. What really sets Raheen House apart from all the others is the staff and the service. From our very first enquiry last year to the check out the day after the wedding everyone went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. A special mention has to be made for Davy and Shania, nothing was too much for them, all our guests young and old were treated like royalty, they made our wedding day the best day of our lives as we could relax all day knowing we were in their very safe hands. My husband & I married in USA, but he is from Waterford Counry, so we held a reception in Ireland for family that couldn't travel. Raheen House was so great to work with. It was very easy to communicate from a country away and share all the details with our guests. When we arrived, we were admittedly wiped out from the wedding the week prior and travel. Claire, the manager, had EVERYTHING ready to go for us. The room we stayed in was beautiful, comfortable, and spacious. The cocktail hour was great, with small snacks and drinks for our guests. The reception space was OUT OF THIS WORLD. We didn't plan to have any decorations, trying to keep expenses low. Claire used on-site decorations and it was beautiful. When it came time for dinner, I wish I had three stomachs! The food was amazing, plentiful, and beautifully plated. Our guests couldn't stop talking about the food. My husband and I left early in the morning, so didn't get to enjoy breakfast, but all our guests said it was great. I truly couldn't say enough nice things about Claire and her team. She is a real asset and very funny. Loved our time there, and can't wait to come back...
