Chicken Hut Drogheda — Restaurant in The Borough District of Drogheda

Tragedy 😠😠😠 I was regular customer.. Never again.. First, was hard to order ( I can understand.. Busy...) Finally nearly hour later courier delivered food, without receipt without chips.. Only meat, no chips.. Of course, courier left (believing all good) Rang immediately and heard question "u wanted chips too???" I said i won't eat meat without the rest.. I Heard, I'll give u chips next time 😡😡😡 I said no, need them ASAP.. Reply was.. I'll do my best... Rang maybe 10 times 20..30.. mins later?? Looked like business closed.. No answer.. Till now, over the hour now, food cold, 20 euro paid.. Thanks to man who works tonight Great food on valentines...

No atmosphere. The shop looks like it's falling apart. Ground in dirt around the tiles, floor and counter a mess. Counter signs/posters ripped. Not replaced in years. Place looks run down. Staff keep messing up orders. Not paying attention. Keep repeatedly leaving out simple items from order. Putting in stuff not asked for. While there last time, they were also screwing up delivery service food going out. Prices got higher while food boxes and inner quantities got smaller. We stopped ordering from the place - and we used to do so weekly when it was being better run - and had far better staff who actually deliver...

Absolutely appalling. Me and two friends ordered a large portion of food and when we got home to sit down and enjoy what we thought would be scrumptious chicken, we were horrified to see our chicken was pink and had clots of blood coming from it. It was a vile site and angered us. We tried calling Chicken hut multiple times to get no answer so we travelled back down to the "restaurant" to get our money back where we were treated as if we were fools or sub human to have the money thrown at us with anger. I'm sick to my stomach thinking of the chicken and appalled by the behavior of the people working there...
