Primo Italian Restaurant — Restaurant in The Municipal District of Kilkenny City

So is it possible to give a place minus stars? If so this is a winner.. On time for booked table.. waitress seemed surprised we had actually booked a table and told us to sit wherever we wanted she didn't care.. maybe it was just a figure of speech I don't know.. anyway.. onwards and downwards it went.. I think they must have thought it was a great idea to have a similar temperature here to day 1 of the winter Olympics (which was today) as it was freezing in here.. but it STILL GETS WORSE!! Took 25 minutes to place an order and that was after chasing someone to take it! When it came out.. oh boy.. did it live up to the rest of the experience of the night.. which also gave free lasagne stains on the glass for a drink... Meal number 1 was a chicken dish which looked more like a flat piece of batter.. and then there was the burger for me.. with establishment special sauce on the side (as I am fussy about sauces).. it came out on the burger.. and was not nice.. (it was taco sauce the waiter told me.. whats special about that?) so burger 2 came along it's merry way instead.. 15 mins later.. we are now at almost 50 mins in here.. and still freezing!!.. So here it comes.. the anticipation for what will surely taste great.. won't it??.. Oh God no.. Burnt to a crisp it was! Spoke with the manager.. I'll stop there as I want people to still have jobs.. (sure who wudnt want a chef that was too shy to come out and discuss the food he had just served not to have a job) and pay their bills.. Very disappointed in the food and the service, me and my friend visited your restaurant at 9:20 on the 2nd of June for a bite to eat, my friend ordered a burger and fries and I ordered lasange and chips. We waited about 20 minutes and garlic bread arrived that we did not order but my friend trying to be polite just said we would leave it, an addition 30 minutes had passed and we finally received our order. My friend brought to my attention his burger tasted abit strange half way through and discovered it was PINK on the inside, another ten minutes had passed while trying to get the waiters attention I finally let a shout to get his attention and told him about the under cooked burger, he apologised and said he would get another but as he went to walked away again I called him back and explained that my friend feels ill after seeing what he had just eaten and does not want more beef and to wait so long again, he went to offer something else as my friend explained we where in a rush is there anything that can be prepared quickly or is ready to go but there was not and the waiter suggested tagalelle. I had already finished my dish so we decided to leave promptly, so I went to pay for mine and was charged for garlic bread I didn't order on top of my dish with no apology for the bad experience or long wait. Will not be coming to this restaurant again I feel we where not dealt with...

Just back from a sit down meal with my family. Waited at the counter to be told “Wait 2 minutes”. After a girl picked up menus, looked at us and walked to a table we assumed it was for us. As we looked at the menu we witnessed a waitress wipe down the seats next to us and then proceeded to wipe down the table after using the same cloth. After a short wait we ordered our food, starters and mains. We got our starters. Two garlic breads with cheese which were soaking in grease! Meatballs which were subpar and sauce overflowing in the dish. After finishing our starters we waited another 20 minutes to be served our mains. My two family members got their mains and I waited for mine. A server eventually came over to ask did we want anything else and I responded with I’m still waiting on my main. She rolled her eyes and left! After waiting another 10 minutes I asked another server about my main (she was very polite and told me she will see what’s going on)! The previous girl who took our orders came back after 10 minutes to say “it’s my fault it’ll be as fast as possible coming out it’s my fault so…” and just stopped speaking. The carbonara my two family members got was also destroyed in grease! It was pooling at the bottom of the bowl! My food eventually came out. Flavourless and coated in tomato sauce that looked like it came from a tin. No apology when leaving! We will...
