Pint was beautiful and I mean just gorgeous! Full head, full of life, went down a treat. I would have ordered a second but the barman didn't come back out and my daughter wanted to move on as she is a non drinker. Outside area was well covered and big, no questions, no vaccine passports needed, just sit down and enjoy your pint. This has to be the most unwelcomeing pub that I have ever been in, a total contrast to the rest of Kilkenny. I was speaking at a conference in Kilkenny and got away on my own 15 mins before closing time (23.15). The lone barman was reluctant to serve me until it was pointed out to him that the pub was still open and there is also 30 mins of drink up time.
