I was really sad that Davisons didn't have their ice cream parlour in Douglas any more (its now cafe villa, and awful - wouldn't recommend!) but happily drove down to Peel one day in order to have full choice of their lovely flavours.
The ice cream itself is miles above any ice cream ever, only comparable to Roskillys from Cornwall. They have such a vast choice of flavours there's something for everyone. Just a shame that the parlour in Peel is a bit tired looking and worn down, could definitely do with a bit of a revamp. When we visited it was a scorching hot day and they were understandably very busy. A list of the flavours available on display would've helped immensely, as then we (and everyone else) could've chosen more easily...

Visually appealing, and it delivers on your tastebuds. Best place all year round to stop and get something nice, from savoury foods to sweet stuff to chocolates and truffles.
