Hidden jewel in old Jerusalem; It's not very easy to find this tiny restaurant, but definitely worth it! Handmade kebabs and hummus, prepared just after order - fresh and tasty. The most affordable and tasty place to eat within the walls. The beef kabab prepared fresh right before eyes and grilled over coal fire, is simply heavenly! The humus and the finely chopped veg gies salad in a creamy dressing is simply fantastic! When you are in Jerusalem, Al-Baghdadi is a must try place! Now a days they have changed schedule and on Mondays they remain open, When planning to visit on Monday do inquire first on their number +972 2-627-6812

One thing to note is that they only accept cash payments, no credit cards. However, this shouldn't deter you from trying out this gem of a restaurant!
Overall, if you're in Jerusalem and looking for a tasty and budget-friendly meal, I would definitely recommend giving Al-Baghdadi...

It nearly did though as we showed up twice on a day when they weren't open. Thankfully, they were opened later in the week because it's not a straightforward restaurant to locate. Refer to the GPS coordinates posted in an earlier comment.
