Amazing hummus! Stopped at this place for a late breakfast because it was on our way to the Israel Museum and was amazed by the hummus! As tourists, we’d been to Lina, supposedly the best hummus in Jerusalem in the Old City, but this place was way better. The staff were extremely friendly (by Israeli standards!) and spoke perfect English, and there was an English menu. The food was honestly amazing and pretty reasonably priced. Read moreI really wanted to like this restaurant but unfortunately the food wasn't very good. I ordered the meat hummus, the meat had a weird texture and very little flavor, it sorted tasted like canned meat, not fresh at all. The hummus itself was fine texture wise but was very bland. The Kibbeh was okay, mediocre but nothing special. The pita was good though. Overall it was an unsatisfying meal.

I think the meal could be easily improved though... with some better fresher meat and more flavor added to the dish. Hopefully the restaurant can...

I’m not sure if it’s because of the location on Azza Street in the city center, but it’s definitely on the higher end of the price range, which makes me think twice before coming back too often. Still, the food was outstanding and worth trying...
