I’ve written one Google review prior to this, and this place was so exceptional I felt compelled to write another one. There are a lot of high end restaurants in Israel that are simply not worth the money - Satya is not that in any way. The staff we’re accommodating, pleasant, respectful, and attentive; there was no point when I felt we needed something and weren’t taken care of, nor did it feel at any point that their presence was impeding on our privacy/family moment. Most importantly, the food was excellent; you can tell from the taste that they are using high quality, fresh ingredients. Equally crucial, everything was seasoned and cooked to perfection. The same goes for the desserts - the amount of sugar/sweetness was exactly right and in great proportion to the natural flavors they are based on (e.g. a crack pie that tastes like more than just butter and sugar). My only feedback is that, even though it’s not on the cocktail menu, they make a decent old fashioned - all it’s missing is an orange peel and/or a maraschino cherry, then it’s 12/10. I would definitely come back here and can...
Read moreI had the pleasure of dining at Satya, and it was truly a special experience. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, with a perfect blend of elegance and comfort.
Chef Ilan Grossi's creativity shines through every dish. The menu offers a fantastic variety of seasonal dishes, each with Mediterranean and Asian influences. The attention to detail in both presentation and flavor is remarkable.
The restaurant's wine menu includes an all-Israeli wines list, featuring excellent wines from various growing regions across the country, including the Golan Heights and the Galilee. Well done for showcasing the best of Israeli wines.
The service was impeccable — attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable. The staff made me feel welcome and ensured that my dining experience was flawless from start to finish.
Satya is not just a meal. It’s an experience. Whether you're a local or visiting Jerusalem, this is a must-visit restaurant. I look forward to returning and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a culinary journey that excites the...
Read moreWe came with a little child, ordered schnitzel and got it semi raw. To fix that they put it back into the deep fryer. Ordered 3 stakes medium-well, all three were done to a different level and came back once again raw after sending it back. The side dishes were brought separately and were cold by the time the stakes came back which I eventually said to cancel. Utensils for seafood had to be asked even though crabs can't be eaten with a fork and knife. As an apology for the children's dish they brought ice cream in a cone (why make a bigger mess and not put it in a little dish???). The place was cramped and maybe it would've been different if the owner/chef wasn't busy with his buddies bringing them more shots of various alcohol. Given the past reviews, I'm not sure that it would've been better. The waitresses were very sorry and apologetic but there were just too many mistakes. One of the stakes had almost one-third of it as fat. The food is too expensive for the quality by far. As an apology for the stakes that offered us deserts...
