Great location in a quiet neighborhood close to the historic walls of the old city of Jerusalem. Very clean public areas and rooms. Rooms are a little small, but adequate. Nice updated bathrooms. Fabulous views of Jerusalem from the rooftop seating area, which is accessible from the 7th floor by walking up 1 flight of stairs. We visited during festival of Sukkot and ate breakfast and dinner in the open air dining area decorated like a Sukkah. The food was well prepared and included plenty of variety even for the vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free in our group. There is a synagogue in the basement which we were able to use for our evening meetings. Ironically this same room is also a bomb/fallout shelter. Good to know that this shelter was available if needed, sad that the Israelis have to live this way.

Great hotel had everything we needed. Sheets Nd rooms were clean. Helpful staff and good food at breakfast. I would like to add a special mention to Itmar as he was superb, any question he would answer and if you needed help he always went above and beyond! Also to note they have a nice view from the roof terrace.

If you're into a nice hotel, not very "fancy" but with good service, and nice breakfast, its a very good option, and cheap in comparison to other hotels in this location. Notice that free parking is available but only about 10 parking places. Nevertheless, we found a place almost every time.on peak season

Step into a world of artistic splendor and unparalleled hospitality at the Prima Royale Jerusalem – a boutique hotel that effortlessly blends Artdeco decor with a perfect palette of color, taste and elegance. At this enchanting hospitality establishment, you are greeted by an ambiance that speaks to artistic souls and culture enthusiasts alike.

The Prima Royale’s charm extends far beyond its physical appeal as it is set apart by its heart and soul derived from the dedicated staff who all truly make this establishment shine. The impeccable maid service, led by the exceptional Renet, is a testament to the hotel's commitment to excellence. Renet's magical touch transforms your room into a haven of comfort and luxury, with a bed so perfectly made, you'll be dreaming of it long after your stay. Her attention to every aspect of cleaning coupled with her cheerful demeanor make for a perfect travel experience. Renet is a pure ray of sunshine, brightening your every interaction and leaving you with a smile that lingers throughout the day.

However, the exceptional service doesn't stop there. The front desk staff, a dream team consisting of Eliran, Madlin, and Eliya, redefine the meaning of true hospitality. Their professionalism, dedication, and willingness to go above and beyond for each guest make them valuable stars of the Prima Royale experience. They anticipate your needs, offer invaluable recommendations, and ensure that every aspect of your trip is seamlessly taken care of, leaving you with nothing but fond memories and a heart full of gratitude.

In a world where true customer-centricity is often hard to find, the Prima Royale Jerusalem stands as a beacon of excellence. It's a place where art, comfort, and exceptional service intertwine to create a symphony of delight for the international traveler. The hotel's extensive breakfast is a top notch selection of plentiful, fresh and diverse delicacies as it offers something savory, sweet and delicious for all to enjoy. Whether you're a traveler seeking refuge in the heart of Jerusalem or a connoisseur of pampered living on the road, the Prima Royale is a destination that transcends the ordinary and elevates your journey to exciting heights.

I am looking forward to my next experience at The Prima Royale Jerusalem and the treasures its phenomenal staff have to offer. Until then, I hold onto the memories of creative decor, warm interactions, and a level of service that truly deserves a perfect 10! Kudos to the Prima Royale Jerusalem for setting the gold standard in hospitality and leaving an indelible mark on the guests fortunate enough to pass...

We were invited to spend 4 nights at this hotel by a friend who came from abroad. She booked and paid for our (second) room and she was taxed because we (not her) are (also) israeli. Just saying, it is quite ridiculous and abusive, to tax your own citizens for bringing business to your country, all the other countries we’ve visited tax the tourist! not the citizen… in this case, they charged the tourist, who paid for our tax… in any case, we can understand it is policy that hotels would never lobby to change because who cares… Our room was good, comfortable and well lit and ventilated. In general service was dry but ok. When asking for extra sheets, we were just told coldly to go wait in the room, literally like children. We asked for a bottle of water, really 7-8 NIS is not too much to ask, well, we were denied the water bottle. So, really the reception people, no charm at all and forget the extra mile, or centimetre. We were charged 220NIS for a shabbat meal - which is EXACTLY - as any other day’s meal. Paying 60 USD for a meal, child or adult, is another abuse, usually these meals are priced at 40USD no more. We expressed this to a very pleasant and helpful staff member, Adi, that approached to ask for feedback. She definitely tried to help, looked into it, and as a token, she offered us a breakfast and dinner. This was a very thoughtful and appreciated gesture and we really believe she wanted to make the experience better for us, and in fact we would have given a one star review if it wasn’t for someone asking for honest feedback and trying to make things better. It is a fact that we have just returned from Europe and were actually surprised to have paid the amount we paid in the Prima for 4 days, for 10 at the Leonardo in London with breakfast buffet. Here we got nothing (not even an extra water bottle) but the meals that Adi offered as a gesture. We want the hotel to have more stars but only if people like Adi make an effort to serve the client, to go even a small step beyond, and to learn from other countries like, in Asia for example, where customer service is PRIME, then this hotel deserves not more...

I love this hotel, my mother and I were treated exceptionally well. We were given 2 courtesy calls whilst in the room to make sure we had everything we needed.

Dina the receptionist, couldn’t have been more helpful if she tried. She was absolutely amazing, my mother and I absolutely love her! She is kind, efficient, always has a smile on her face and goes out of her way to sort any problems we may have had and we did drive her a little mad :)

Nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff, everyone to the manager of the breakfast was also so smiley and helpful and made us feel so welcome.

Breakfast was delicious with many options and Friday night dinner was amazing with so many choices of what to eat and with my mother being a fussy eater, she even said that whatever she had was delicious. The atmosphere was uplifting and we just away feeling really happy and content.

Location is amazing, we managed to get to the bus stop easily or get taxis. It’s in a great place, very close to Mamilla (within walking distance) and not long to get to the central bus or train station.

I could go and on, this is our second year coming to this hotel and we will be coming back next year and I cannot recommend this hotel enough to friends, family or anyone else for that matter.

If there are any problems, they do anything in their power to sort it out.

The cleaning lady (I don’t know her name) is so sweet, and also goes above and beyond to make sure you have everything you need. She is amazing!

The rooftop is a lovely place to sit and relax. It would be nice to just have some umbrellas as some shade.

It may not be a 5* hotel however you are treated like...
