Bellboy — Restaurant in Tel-Aviv

After 20 minutes of sitting at the bar without even being greeted or receiving a menu from anyone, the hostess noticed the water glasses she filled when we were seated were empty and came to refill them. We told her no one approached us yet. She apologized and brought us a menu herself. It took another 10 minutes until a waiter came just as we were about to leave. We decided to give it another chance and ordered drinks. It took another 20 minutes till they were served. A lot of apologies were given to us by the waiter and the shift manager. Still, every time we wanted to order another drink, it was a struggle to get attention, and even after we succeeded in ordering, the drinks took sooo long to get to us.

The drinks menu was well organized, and we enjoyed most of our drinks. Unfortunately, the food menu was not a match in quality to the cocktails, and the waiter didn't bring napkins with any of the dishes.

This place was once one of the best bars in town, known for its high level of service. I never thought my gf and I would sit for almost an hour until we got our first drink. All the show-off the place offers is worth nothing if one needs to order the next drink every time a drink comes to avoid waiting dry...

I came to this place with a friend to cheer him out (because of some personal issues). The hosts/waiters were nice and pleasant, advised us to order cocktails. The cocktail that I ordered mixed with GIN wasn't prepared good at all. It was served in some kind of a fish. It was very salty and didn't remind me a anything related to GIN... in the beginning I though I wouldn't make an issue from that cause it's just a cocktail, then I realize I am unable to drink it at all. I called the waiter told him this drink is impossible. He checked it with other barmen they were in shock cause they couldn't drink it either, and didn't know how I made it so far :) ... So they switch the drink for the real one, which was actually gin made cocktail ... the prices of the cocktail are starting form 50 NIS... Yes they are nicely served... but because of the fact the my cocktail was poorly made and I wasn't compensated for the situation I don't think I will recommend anyone to come to this...

I‘m sincerely disappointed by the Bellboy, indeed the drinks looked really fancy with nice presentation for almost all of them, the thing is that the taste is not matching the presentation. The drinks tasted messy, and were not so special for MY personal taste, it doesn’t taste as sensational as it looks. One of my cocktail was way over diluted, an other one was with an white cloudy ice chunk (which is weird for a bar like this to not have crystal ice). The service was also messy, there is an hostess at the door, then someone is bringing you inside, then someone else brings you the menues, then someone else takes your drink order, someone else is then asking for your food order (we haven’t tasted the food, it looked fancy) I mean what’s the actual F, why making it so complicated ? I need to precise that we were there for happy hour (50 per cent discount on every drink), it’s a great deal Hopefully will try again, and be...
