From the outside, the restaurant has a quiet charm—understated, almost easy to miss. But stepping inside, you’re welcomed into a space that feels instantly inviting. Warm lighting, tasteful décor, and a subtle blend of wood, metal, and greenery create a relaxed atmosphere that feels both modern and lived-in.
What stood out immediately was the calm efficiency of the staff. We were seated promptly, handed well-designed menus, and offered a short but thoughtful list of house cocktails and wines. Our server was friendly and knew the menu inside and out, which made the decision-making process a lot easier.
The food was, simply put, outstanding. We started with a small plate featuring locally sourced vegetables in a tangy, house-made dressing—fresh, crisp, and full of flavor. Every bite had contrast and character, setting a high bar for the rest of the meal.
The main course was even better. I chose a pan-roasted poultry dish served over a creamy root vegetable purée with a drizzle of reduction that added a deep, savory finish. The meat was juicy, and the skin perfectly crisp. My dining partner’s pasta, made in-house, was rich and comforting without being heavy, paired with seasonal ingredients that brought brightness to every forkful.
Dessert brought a welcome surprise: a deconstructed cheesecake with a crumbly base, whipped top, and a tart fruit compote that tied it all together. Playful but balanced, and not too sweet.
What really made the night memorable was how effortless everything felt. Great pacing, welcoming staff, and dishes that were creative without being pretentious. It’s the kind of place you walk out of feeling fully satisfied—both with the food and...
Read moreFor work reasons, i end up coming here every once in a while (its location, sitting layout and lack of business in the first couple hours of the day fit my meetings), so i write this after many visits here - one of the worse places in Tel Aviv when it comes to service. Thats the reason this place is always half empty despite its great location, and if it wasn't for the location it would never survive with such a bad service. There are times i am the only (!) one in the cafe and still stuggle to get the waiter's attention. I never get a menu or the check within less than 10-15 min. I've never got even an apologetic look not even when i get tired of waiting for them to collect the check and end upbringing it to them so i can go and not miss my next appointments. Horrible place, the only good thing about them is that its uncommon to find a coffe house around here that is both spacious and quiet (and even that is sometimes ruined by the waiters playing...
Read moreI'm an Israeli, who lives close. I come here often for a few reasons. I think they have the best shakshuka in Tel Aviv It's nice area, close to Habima and nice atmosphere outside. There is also a small pond that birds come to sometimes which is nice You can usually get a table here pretty quickly and stay for as long as you'd like.
But!
There is usually 1 or 2 people serving a pretty large area. It might take a while for them to come over, sometimes you need to be assertive and signal them a few times. The usually forget something you asked for, like water or an extra feta cheese that costs money and since it's hard to get their attention, you most likely have to eat your dish without it
Come here if you have time and patience or you forgot to book a seat for a Friday/Saturday...
